Thats right. And the exciting thing about that is most of the flying youre sitting down. On most of the line you sit down. On the upper line, the zoom line, youre lying down and flying like superman. Thats about as close as you can on a jet pack. It is exhilarating and sensory overload. You can tell how im so excited. Im kind of coming out of my chair because shawn, i want to do the upper flip line. It looks like you need to wear a cape when you do that. And a diaper. Guys, dont wait to get yours checked. I know its not the most fun thing, but its gonna save your life. The importance of Early Detection is dr. David ludlow with urology specialist. Great having you. Thanks for having me back. So Prostate Cancer, you dont want to bring it up cause youre not looking forward to. But you have to get checked. Unfortunately, thats still part of screening. Hopefully by the time youre 50, well come up with something new. Im hoping. Explain what Prostate Cancer is. So first of all, prostate is only in males. Its a little gland that sits underneath the bladder and unfortunately, as you mentioned, most common cause of cancer in men and the second most common cause of death from cancer in men. Thats why it gets its own awareness month. Its very important that we educate people about it. The fortunate thing is you can detect it early, good rate of success. Yes. Exactly. People are always asking if there are symptoms and theyre and in actuality there is not really any symptoms. Only in rare advanced disease. So its important you get screened. And screening is a blood test called psa and then unfortunately, as you mentioned, the dreaded prostate exam. Youre a natural, looks good. Once a year. 50s and 60s. A lot of people ask when do i need to start screening . There are certain populations a little more at risk. They may want to start early. Specifically if you have a Family History of Prostate Cancer and also more common in africanamerican men. Wow. Okay. Youre screening it for 50 and 60. Im assuming thats when the majority of it happens. But it can happen earlier as well . In rare cases. In general, if most people start at age 50, theyll be just fine. All right. So lets talk weve talked about the test, the psa screening being one of them. Thats a blood test. Correct. The other one being the rubber glove test. Physical exam. What are some of the wow. Thats what a lot of people are in denial that they could have cancer because they dont have any urinary symptoms. Usually symptoms are from enlarged prostate, which is cancer. All right. Lets talk about treatment robin williamss. Were just talking while were in the break. Treatment options used to be more invasive. A lot of people have relatives that maybe had treatment years ago and have a lot of residual side effects. Lot of new technology. First off, one thing to mention is a lot of times if it doesnt look like aggressive disease, we can watch it. Really . And then as far as treatments, the two staples, which urology specialists nevada definitely offer and are very good at and have gotten much better at as far as the technology is robotic. Thats a way to remove the prostate, but not as much blood loss and pain. Thats a type of surgery. And then radiation. We have a radiation oncologist who does the newest technology. Treatment. But we have Even New Technology coming. A lot of people are asking, is there even a less invasive way . People that have done research have heard of this technology called hifu. High intensity frequency ultrasound. Its been around for a few years, but only recently got f. D. A. Approved in america. It takes for time for the f. D. A. Exactly. This technology is amazing. With robotic surgery, its usually youre overnight in the hospital, maybe two days. Then you have to keep the catheter in for about a week. Which is still much better than it used to be. But with hifu, its through a camera, so no incisions are made. Camera through the swim suit area. And its something that urologists are very familiar with cause we use a camera to treat enlarged prostate with a lot of different frequencies such as laser and Different Things that oblate the tissue. But those just observe late the enlarged prostate tissue. The frequency is able to penetrate deeper to where the cancer is. Its the same thing that urologists are used to going with the camera and treating the prostate, were able to get deeper and treat the Prostate Cancer. No kidding. So how long are you looking at for as far as recovery for the procedure . How long are we keeping that pesky catheter in . Usually its an outpatient procedure usually done in a surgery center. Often well keep a catheter overnight to let things recover. And so far, the data shows as far as from a cancer standpoint, its comparable to the other radiation and surgery. Technology is great. So trust me, i want the 13 years. Tell us how it works. It is a qck process. The first step is stain out swab. You rub it on your teeth like this. Its saturated with formula. Rub for two minutes, top and bottom teeth. What we do over that two minutes, we accomplish two things. One, we lift the stains off of our teeth. The other products people use, the strips and trays, they will whiten the stain, but they dont remove them. I notice that youre able to continue talking while youre putting this on. Its not the grewy stuff or burning your mouth. No. Thats the strips and the trays and people have big complaints theyre time consuming, messy, taste bad. The worst part is the sensitivity. Really, really is. I get that question all the time. Why does that happen . I use the strips. I get through two sessions and my teeth were killing me. Thats because they dehydrate the enamel. This step in the process, not only removes the stain, but it hydrates and moisturizes your enamel. That leads to what i feel is the biggest advantage of this product minimal to no sensitivity. Which is fantastic. Huge. With the other ones getting rid of the enamel breaking down the enamel, you cant get it no. This keeps it moisture i liken it to doing your laundry. This is like your pseudo beach. The great thing about this, this is a much less harsh peroxide. That adds to the minimal or to no sensitivity. Were looking at some results. You can really see t difference. Thats the shade chart. Thats after one use, which im doing now. Thats on average two shades whiter. Over seven days, six shades whiter. You are allowed to down dip. Get in there, get all the solution. You dont have to share your power swabs with other people. There is plenty to go around. Great thing is that i was blessed with white teeth. But i had a problem tooth that was a little offcolor. I had the same thing, one tooth. Worse than having all bad. It really is. But because of the swab, you can focus on that one area to get it your other teeth. Thats it. Weve done two minutes. Less than five minutes. On average, two shades whiter. Over seven days, six shades. Results last up to six months. Thats fantastic. Here is the thing, i think people are watching are like, cool. Ive taken a look at the color chart there.
