Ng the last couple of tremendous sacrifice and have seen very difficult times, its an honor to be able to ease their pain and to give them comfort. So its always exciting to have special folks come in to us. Gary go to the football, basketball games, limped as i climbed up in the bleachers. Would sit for a while, stand for a while, sit for a while. That was the quality of life that i had before the surgery. Last year i think i had more bad days than i had good days. On a bad day id spent most of the day in my recliner chair and bed. And on a good day i would get out and about with a pronounced limp and quite a bit of pain. And then i was at a Football Game with my grandsons. The Laser Spine Institute son played football with my grandson and he noticed me limping quite a bit and asked me my problems. I shared with him what id gone through, failed back surgery. And he said, you know, i really need to get a consult with the Laser Spine Institute. Which i made an appointment. Then i received a call from a friend of mine, said you know, probably you would want to talk to dr. Bonati. And so i did. Had an mri. And after about a 45 minute consult i said this is something that i have to go through with. Quite reluctant to have back surgery again after having failed back surgery. I have trust and faith that he can relieve some of my pain. Dr. Bonati well its amazing to see somebody hope and has situations where they were already told that nothing can be done, and we can correct that. Gary i went through three surgeries with dr. Bonati. At the end of the third surgery i went home. Ten days later i went back. Still had a little bit of a limp, a little bit of pain. And dr. Bonati injected both of my sacroiliac joints and that gave me instant relief. And then over the next couple of weeks each day just seemed to get better and better and better. And where now im virtually painfree. When i went in and talked with dr. Bonati he said i have a desire to donate one surgery a month to veterans and or activeduty. Go through with the surgery, then it will be pro bono under my Wounded Warrior project that i have going. Robert uteg its wonderful to be able to help the Wounded Warrior veterans. My father was a world war ii veteran and he was a Land Surveyor and professional engineer. And growing up i worked for him a lot of summers and he always gave discounts to vets and to clergy. And i thought that was a pretty good practice. This is a group that has proven themselves. Theyre most worthy of extra effort on our part. Gary dr. Bonati told me stop limping. My wife thought he said me stop wimping. And so we got home, she said okay, you cant wimp anymore. I said honey, he didnt say wimp. He said limp. Two weeks after the last surgery i really put my back to a test. I went fishing in canada for halibut, king salmon. Four days and four nights on a boat. And i taxed my back to the max and i was totally painfree for the entire trip. Wellbeing completely retired now i have one son and two grandsons that live right down the street and the opportunity to spend as much time as i do with my son and two grandsons means an awful lot to me. I definitely use eagle five, my boat out in the backyard a lot more. And make all their ball games or Football Games, basketball games. Pretty much anything that they want to do, papa can still hang in there now. Well im building a house right next door and it has four flights of stairs. So i test my back quite often by walking very briskly up and down the four sets of stairs in the house nextdoor. Probably get up and down those bleachers without wimping again. Well i appreciate you getting me to a state where im virtually painfree. And i also appreciate what you do for our veterans and our retired military. Ann richman well my part is very small. But its always exciting to see the response of our patients. To be a part of that experience. You know, im just there to help and make the process easier for them. But dr. Bonati makes the magic. Gary when i first met him and he reviewed the mri and while reviewing the mri was saying you have a problem here that gives you pain. Its shooting that pain here. And its like, whoa, exactly. And its like this is unbelievable. With me the procedure, the minimally invasive procedure, the rapid recovery, i was just convinced immediately. And then to find out that dr. Bonati is such a great guy that he wants to donate one surgery a month to our veterans and to our Wounded Warriors is just unbelievable. What a heart. Dr. Bonati every time that i walk in the operating room, when im rubbing my hands i always thank god for the opportunity to do this. And its very unique that feeling and you need to appreciate it. The same like the patient. When youre doing the surgery the patient appreciates that. And its amazing how easy their minds. Tonina campoli were not going anywhere because we believe in what we do. Theres no other place that will give you those immediate results, first of all. Secondly youre talking about patients lives. Theres nothing else that will make you feel like youre making a difference. No other place will do it. Gary well ive had a lot of people ask me about my back. And when i explain to them that im virtually painfree, i have recommended since my surgery three people to dr. Bonati and my comment to them was it worked for me. You need at least a consult. Get an mri. Get a consult. And then you make your decision from there. So anyone that had pain like me, i definitely recommend the bonati Spine Institute. This is the first time that i am pain free after 18 years. And its just wonderful. I love it. Phenomenal results. No pain whatsoever. My pain is virtually gone. Those surgeries gave me my life back. Already i feel like a new person. Im going home new. I can chase my grandbaby now. I can garden. I can cook. And im really thrilled. The outcomes been remarkable. I feel 100 better. Its like a miracle. It was phenomenal. It literally did change my life. I was in a wheelchair at that time. And i left here walking. Every single pain that i had when i came here is gone. Im ready to go home. I feel great. This place is great. Thank you. I knew in surgery, in fact i told the surgeon when he relieved the pain off the nerve. The pain is gone. Im feeling wonderful. It definitely works. I mean, i really dont know what else to tell you. Im happy. Revolutionary in his field, dr. Bonati created, perfected and patented the bonati spine procedures. Heres just one of our help for Wounded Warriors back to life stories. Michael macdonald i was in such pain from years and years of being in the military. Over 20 years. Jumping out of airplanes, working with large weights on my back had just taken its toll. I had horrible sciatic pain and it was actually affecting my career and my ability to do my job. Dr. Bonati we were very happy that we were able to time the happiest people are people that they succeed in life and is the people that get better. Michael i was seriously considering having to get out of the military earlier than i wanted to. Simply because of this issue. If i didnt have pain on a day, that was a great day. But two out of three days i was living in pain and just suffering with it. And thanks to the doctor i dont have to anymore. When i went to the bonati Spine Institute i walked in, i felt like a professional athlete, professional quarterback in his very own private clinic. Thats how they made me feel. Hes very interested in you as a person and wants to know. He came in, he told me, you know, when he was looking at my pictures and he was like you have pain here. You have pain here. And i was like yeah, absolutely. And he was a doctor, id been to others, but he was a doctor that didnt want to fillet my back open like a fish, you know, and do like open Spine Surgery. Because everybody else wanted to do that. And i was not having it. He promised me, he was like youll be pain free. Completely. 100 . He performed the surgery. The anesthesiologist who was working with me, who was like basically sitting right there and i was watching on the monitor everything that the doctor was doing inside my back, he was a Naval Reserve officer. So we talked a little bit about that. I mean, i was like having a conversation with this guy as dr. Bonati is fixing my back. Every time he was getting ready to, you know, i wouldnt say hurt me, but you know, dig in there she would rub my feet and i knew it was coming and that made me feel so good. Ann richman its always exciting to see the response of our patients. To be a part of that experience. You know, im just there to help and make the process easier for them. But dr. Bonati makes the magic. Michael my sciatic pain disappeared. I was up walking that night after the surgery. Moving, not super well, but i was moving. And it was really good. So in seeking out the better decisions that i ever made. Robert uteg it feels terrific to help the Wounded Warrior veterans. This is a group that has proven themselves. Theyre most worthy of extra effort on our part. Michael its been about a year and a half and i am still doing my thing. Still in the military thanks to dr. Bonati. I really do appreciate everything that he has i just recently went and received my Crossfit Level which is a very, very difficult athlet ticrainer se its not just bookwork, whereas most of them are. I never wouldve been able to do that a year and a half ago. I know that. And thanks to dr. Bonati i was able to do it. I actually reached out to him. I sent kimberly bermel, shes a wonderful person as are all of the doctors just letting her know, like hey, this is what i did. And just pass it along to the doctor. Say thank you for me. I really appreciate it. You dont have to live in back pain. You know, if youve tried everybody else then try the best. Go to dr. Bonati. At least let him look at it. Because hell tell you, you know. Hell give you the straight up. If he can fix you he will. He reaches out to Wounded Warriors, to veterans and brings them in and helps them. You know, he doesnt just let them sit there and be in pain. Hes a very caring individual in that manner. A very heartfelt thank you. Thank you for allowing me to continue growing in my life as a husband, as a father. You know, helping me to continue to serve my country. Thank you for helping me be pain free. Welcome back to american medicine today presented by the bonati Spine Institute. Ethan dr. Bonati came to this truny years ag some of his goals in producing american medicine today are to introduce new medi technologies that can change the way we all view our medical care and the possibilities that exist when those individuals get a chance to get their message out. Kimberly another goal is to help our Wounded Warriors by charitably performing his patented bonati spine procedures on soldiers who are unable to afford these specialized and remarkable life altering surgeries. Our next segment highlights United States marine corporal Clarence Rogers in our back to life segment. Clarence my name is cpl. Rogers. Cpl. Clarence rogers. And i was in the United States marine corps. Yes, i deployed to afghanistan in 2010. Well what got me to the Bonati Institute the first go around was my back. Military, you know theres just constant, constant pressure on my back. So everything, every little thing i was doing was putting a lot of tension on my back. So as the years go by it started getting worser and worser and worser. And then one day we were pting, physical training, and we were doing some up downs and some box jumps and i landed wrong. Landed and pretty much destroyed my back, the lower part of my back. And i would say a couple months later, a couple weeks later i couldnt walk. My left leg completely was like nonmobile. My back was hurting. My cousin had to help me up out of bed. It was like excruciating pain. Because i really wanted to stay in the marine corps test. Which is 3 miles, 20 so when i couldn d problem and they pretty much were like hey, theres nothing we can do. You might as well just try to get out. So i did. It was a huge letdown. Because i was in limbo of picking up sergeant. Im a black belt marine corps ma instructor. D i was doing pretty good in my career. To know that i could do better and be pretty much forced out because of my back, it was definitely i couldnt go jet skiing. And i love jet skiing. I couldnt go jet skiing. I couldnt go dirt biking. I couldnt go on a roller coaster if i wanted to. Then just sitting down, like how im sitting down right now, it hurt. Walking hurt. Just every little thing that i was doing, something would hurt. It would trigger some type of pain and i would be out for the day. Who led me was my coach, mr. Amir. I was complaining to mr. Amir and letting him know hey, i just got out of the military. My backs a little messed up, but i still want to fight for you. Well you know, just come on in and ill get you ready. So just preparing to fight my back was still hurting, still hurting. So he took me to bonati. He was like hey look, you can go to this guy. Hes really good and hell help your back. So i was like okay. So i go to the Bonati Institute, i meet dr. Bonati. And on the spot, right after my mri he was able to tell exactly what was wrong with my back. And he explained to me exactly what was wrong with my back, with the l3, the l5, being that my disc was bulged and i had a herniated disc and the whole nine. I didnt know anything. So i didnt know exactly what he was talking about, and he just broke it down barney style for me. So he did the surgery on the left side. Like two, three days later i was like hey, i can move. I can move now. I went outside, started throwing some kicks outside with my cousin. I was like you know what, im about to go to school. Im about to go to mears. Im going to see what goes on, see if i can rumble. And i went and i stayed up with the class, an hourlong. Stayed with the class. Class six days. And everybody was in awe, like didnt you just get out of surgery . Im like yeah. I feel great. And theyre like okay, lets see how you do. And i was all in with everybody. And im in the advanced class. So that says a lot right there. With the va, theyre always there to help but at the same time its hard for them to get to everybody. It takes a long time. Like for my mri with the va, it took them roughly a month to get back to me to let me know whats going on. With dr. Bonati it took a day. So with a day, the very next day i was on the table getting my back fixed. Tonina campoli were not going anywhere because we believe in what we do. Theres no other place that will give you those immediate results, first of all. Secondly youre talking about patients lives. Theres nothing else that will make you feel like youre making a difference. No other place will do it. Clarence i didnt believe it myself. Because you know, i was going through the whole nine and trying to figure going to come up with the money to pay for my surgery. Because i really wanted to fight and eventually try to get back into the military. So he basically told me i didnt have to pay for anything. That it was on him because im a Wounded Warrior. So hes looking out for all of us fellow Wounded Warriors out here. Well right now im actually training for a fight. I have a fight coming up in a couple of weeks. And a couple of months ago i didnt think id be fighting ever again. And here it is now, i have a fight coming up in three weeks and im ready. Im more than ready to get back in the ring. Because like i said, i never wouldve thought that i would back in the gym, fighting and class, anything right now. I would tell dr. Bonati thank you so, so, so much. I honestly didnt know if i would be able to fight again or run or anything, and now i am. So my hats off to you and i thank you. Definitely go see dr. Bonati and the Bonati Institute. Because they know exactly theyre very intelligent, theyre very kind. Very, very kind. And you know, theyre here for you. I would tell them take a bus, a train, a boat, a helicopter, and come see dr. Bonati. Robert uteg this is a group that has proven themselves. Theyre most worthy of extra effort on our part. Kimberly thank you for watching american medicine today.
