Krystal that comment coming after the chiefs keynote address at the news conference. Thats where we sergio avila. We also spoke about nevadas contribution to the industry . Reporter as you know nevada as test site for the Drone Industry. So just talking about how important those testing and that stuff that has been done here is to this industry. Im standing in front of the zac science building. These guys focused on drones not for aerial photography. It is photography but it is about mapping and surveying land. So thats what these drones are usually we think about drones for photography and videography but this is another type of way to use these devices for surveying as well as inspections lets say on power lines or things high up in the sky. A little bit more dangerous to send people to. So those are some of the things that are being talked about here at the interdrone conference and the faa administrator talking a lot about that and how this industry is evolving and how recent rule that was passed by the faa will help commercial into operation and out into organizations a lot more. Listen as he talked to us a little bit more about drones and what you can expect coming in the next few years. Many have characterized the Drone Industry as being the Wright Brothers moment of this generation. Aviation has always been about hitting huge milestones. When you think about it just three, four years ago we wouldnt have imagined wed have 4,000 people at a conference in aircraft. It is huge potential for jobs for Economic Growth. Reporter its that Economic Growth that is the focus, part of the focus of the interdrone conference. A lot of setup going on here at this point it opens up in a few hours and interdrone Conference Goes on through the week. This is a commercial drone conference where theyre dealing with all kinds of theyll use drones in places we most likely have not thought about drones being used before. So the community has come out and support this in this past and were asking them to do that again. Exactly. Its going to be a lot of fun. You are going to have food. You are going to have drinks. You are going to have country bands. Its going be a lot of fun, a lot of injuries. Kids are going to be playing boots and hats and get ready to do it right. A perfect night too. Krystal the weather has gotten so much better. Were not dealing with 100 degrees at 6 00 p. M. I want to talk about how this fundraiser really helps the programs that you all have there at the horse ranch. Sure. We have two major fundraisers a year. Our fundraiser in the spring is our equine and wine which basically is for the horses this one, our roundup, is to help raise money to keep our program free for socially challenged youth, their families, service men and women and their families and anybody who needs our program. Thats what the focus here. Krystal excellent. I want to talk about what we can expect when we get out there. We know were going to be having good food. I was hearing about some of the dishes. Break it down for us. We are going to have rolling smoke coming. Basically a chuck wagon style dinner underneath the stars. Were going to have a lot of country Old Fashioned games for the children. Of course corn hole and that type of game. Krystal this is really an event for the family. You want the whole family to come out and be part of this. You have country bands coming too . Yes we do. But it is a safe event for the family. Come and have fun. You can see some of our smaller animals. Our goats will probably put on a little show as well. Krystal how cute . I love it. In laughlin were starting to see some of those overhead as well. High, thin clouds. Not expecting any big increase in wind speed, in humidity levels. At least not in our area. As you are stepping out the at 71. Primm at 92. Laughlin you are at 95. Mesquite coming in at 94 degrees. In the las vegas valley, temperatures still warming up. Centennial you are at 90. Downtown 94. If you think about maybe stepping outside to have some lunch at anthem you are still coming in at 89 degrees. Highs this afternoon . Here is what were looking at. Theyre expected to top out around 97 in pahrump. Mesquite also 97. Normal in most cases a degree or two.
