Retired San Francisco Police Officer glenn sylvester, like the other shoppers we spoke with, says he doesnt recognize the man. Not at all, but now that youve shown this to me, i definitely will be on the look out for him. This man is accused of attempting to lure a 2yearold girl. Police say the incident happened at this South San Francisco costco. And, it happened saturday afternoon. Its kind of a little creepy. That man should have been doing that. Well, its very unfortunate. Investigators sharing this surveillance photo of the man described as asian and in his 40s. Police say while passing by the girl in an aisle, he patted her on the head and said come over here, while waving her over. Thats crazy. Here . Investigators say the girls mother was just 15 feet away when this happened. And, that the man quickly left the store without buying anything as soon as he noticed the mother. Worrisome for the simons. Shopping with their twoyearold boy. We try not to let him run around in the store. So, we keep him strapped in or we hold onto him as much as we can. But we try not to let him runaround. Hes too young for that any way. At this time, investigators are not releasing any more information on this case. But hope you recognize the man and call police. San mateo police did undercover surveillance today in order to arrest a man suspected of bothering teenaged girls around san mateo high school. This is 36 year old gary fong. He was taken into custody after being spotted around the school this morning. He faces two counts of annoying a child. Hes accused of calling out to students walking alone to school. In one case police say he tried to lure the girl to his car. Students say theyre glad hes been caught. I think its a little creepy simmons coming around a high school its not really normal thing police do not believe the man arrested today is the same man who approached a 19 Year Old Girl thursday night. It happened in front of the adult school near the high school. Police say that man got out of his car and offered the young woman money to come with him. Filipino in his 30s with a medium build. He wears his dark hair spiky in front and has facial hair on his chin. The car is described as a black or blue foreign four door. A man is behind bars tonight after a police chase through the streets of San Francisco. Police say he was trying to break into cars in the marina and russian hill neighborhoods. Kron 4s j. R. Park police tell us they witnessed this man attempting to break into cars near black point battery. The area at the end of van ness avenue that is part of fort mason. They attempted to stop the man and he fled in this car. A mile later a muni bus smashed into him. We realized this isnt your normal accident this is a police car chase. It was the bus in front of michelle and earlies bus that slammed into the car and sent it into a building. Earlie then got off the bus and took pictures as the man was ordered to surrender. I could hear the guy yelling call the ambulance instead of pointing the gun to my head. I wasnt sure if the guy had any weapons in his car so i stayed inside the bus kinda fearing he might open fire at this intersection. That didnt happen and officers tell me the man was not badly hurt.
