Bart says 100 million a lawyer for the unions says 56 million the two sides continue to point fingers at one another and differ on whether or not a coolingoff period will do any good. theres no reason to believe that if they have another 60 days after having a period from may 13th until june 30th and then the four day strike and then the 30 day extension and then the seven days, that another 60 days will command them to come up to a fair and equitable agreement. if any of these unions chooses to strike that all the others will honor that strike and the bart system will shut down. That is why is the central babar have sufficient time to negotiate with each and all of its unions in order to reach a fair and equitable agreement with each of them. what happens now is the board of inquiry reports to Governor Brown who has until sunday to decide whether or not he will issue a 60 day cooling off period which would make sure that bart trains are running for at least another two months no matter what.
