slow traffic is the result of this slow traffic. our other hot spot is this alert in san leandro--6 aler sig alert--. what's intereg this has not caused a big traffic jam because we are seeing slow traffic in hayward that is normal commute traffic. so far a 80 here getting onto 238 is not back down. this grant may not open until 9:00 a.m. this morning. ---ramps--. the by bridge is a great ride, out of the east bay. a fire at an oil refinery. kron 4 is will tran is there he is live with the latest. >> will: that area we were showing you that is where the fire started at about 5:30 a.m. the fire has been put out and so has a smoke. formation to pass along according to the fire department this happen because of equipment failure. one person was working on equipment, after the explosion took place because it went all over his arm. non fatal injuries he did talk to this person and that person seems to be ok. as to what caused the failure that is under investigation. as far as this scene, even though the flames were very high according to witnesses they say at the highest plane was as high is the silo you see there. one person said he stepped out of his plant adjacent to the refinery and it seemed like it went on for about 10 minutes. paid smoke and flames reaching to the sky. they managed to put it at to. there is no stay in a shelter for the neighborhood, people would did some of their homes were looking loose nobody had to evacuate. they did set up a lot of roadblocks for the fire trucks to get through. as you can see they are blocking the road way here at cherry
