Tia coleman lost nine members of her family in the tour boat tragedy in missouri, including her husband and three children. They were among 17 People Killed when an amphibious duck boat sank in branson, missouri. They ranged in age from one to 76 years old. The duck boat, which drives on land and cruises on water, went through a Violent Storm thursday night. 14 people were rescued. Tia colemad nephew were among the survivors. Omar has her story. Up to the top, somebody could have grabbed him. I wasnt able to do that. Tia colemans nightmare came true on table rock lake, the indiana woman lost her three children her husband and five other relatives. Somehow she managed to survive. When they pulled me up from the boat, i didnt see any of my system. Family. I was going under. Going under. Reporter cell phone video shot from another vessel showed the boat and the water, it eventually sank and rests 80 feet under water. By law all the duck boats have to carry life jackets, but the passengers arent required to wear them. The jackets are stored under the canopy. People on the nearby vessel saw the duck boat sinking and tried to they were throwing out life jackets to people. And i said, jesus, please keep me. Just keep me so i can get to my children. Keep me, lord. The others who died on the boat include a couple from st. Louis, 68yearold Rosemarie Hamann and 69yearold william asher; william and janice bright they were in town to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary; 64yearold Leslie Dennison shes credited with saving her granddaughter; steve smith and his 15yearold son, lance, from arkansas; and the driver of the boat, 73yearold bob williams. M. , a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued, alerting people that 6070 mile per hour wind gusts were possible. The boat was still in the water when the storm hit and sank just 7 foa coleman, who is still recovering, the horror and panic from thursday still haunt her. The worst thing you could ever feel. The one thing i remember saying is, if they dont make it, lord, take me, too. Theres really no need for me to be here. Theres late breaking news right now, lets get to the daims. Several shots have been fired inside a trader joes store in silver lake just outside of downtown this afternoon. A suspect held more than a dozen people hostage inside the store. At least two people have been hurt. A 23yearold female was taken to the hospital in fair condition. This may have started after a police pursuit, and the vehicle crashed inside the store. Some escaped through a window. Its unclear whether anyone remains inside. The president also made clear he did nothing wrong. The twominute talk was recorded by Micheal Cohen two months before the 2016 election. The f. B. I. Uncovered it in april as part of its probe into cohens business dealings. Trump and cohen are heard discussing a possible payment to Karen Mcdougal, the former playboy model alleging a year long affair with trump in 2006. There were real feelings between the two of us. Surveillance video shows a man confronting a woman for illegally parking in a space reserved for disabled drivers. The womans boyfriend walks out of the store and shoves the man to the ground. The man pulls out a gun and shoots him. He died at the hospital. Police say the gunman had a concealed weapons permit and will not be charged because of floridas stand your ground law, which allows shootings done in selfdefense.
