After it became clear the votes were not there, Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell decided to call off the vote on the planned repeal of obamacare, but the lack of support even among the ranks of the gop is an indication it still needs work if it has any chance of passing. I think weve got a really good chance of getting there. It will take us just a little bit longer. Reporter Senate Majority Mitch Mcconnell optimistic that senate bill would pass, although, earlier in the day he said there would not be a vote before the fourth of july. We have not reached a vote, but were still trying to get 50 people. Reporter President Trump met with the senators hoping to get the 50 votes needed.
