Sources say ciccolos fathered robert, a captain in the Boston Police department, alerted authorities last fall that his estranged son had a long history of Mental Illness and had become obsessed with islam. Then in late june, investigators say ciccolo told an f. B. I. Witness his attack at a State University would focus in the College Dorms and cafeteria and would include executions of students broadcast live via the internet. He asked the witness to get him firearms. Court papers say ciccolo praised the Boston Marathon bombers, and on july 3rd purchased a Pressure Cooker at a massachusetts wal mart. The same type of device used in the marathon attacks. In a recorded conversation ciccolo called the recent terror attacks in tunisia awesome and said the gunman was impressive. And like so many other isis inspired extremists, he used social media to praise the terror group. In a statement tonight, the suspects family thanked authorities for stepping in when they did and preventing loss of life, but, scott, ciccolo did injure someone. Well, tonight, drug lord Joaquin El Chapo guzman has a new title fugitive after breaking out of a mexican prison for a second time. Heres omar villafranca. Reporter this small two footwide hole in the ground was the exit guzman used for his great escape. Just before 9 00 p. M. Saturday he stepped into the shower in his maximum security cell and never came out. According to Mexican Police, he climbed down a 30foot ladder to enter a fivefoottall escapepl tunnel complete with lighting and ventilation and a motorcycle on rails to carry digging equipment. It extended about a mile to a construction site south of the prison. When i heard the news, i was quite frankly shocked but yet not surprised. Reporter James Dinkins former head of Homeland Security investigations, is one of the americans who helped capture guzman in february of last year. While they have a lot of information about him, he also knows what information they have about him. So theyre back to the drawing board and starting from scratch in many ways.
