Now, the stadium is in hanover, germany. It was evacuated less than two hours before a friendly soccer match between germany and the netherlands. Police found a suspicious device inside or near the stadium. Germany chancellor Angela Merkel had been scheduled to attend that match. A local report indicates that bombs may have been placed inside an ambulance. We are working to confirm that. But obviously, a late decision to cancel this highprofile game attended by the chancellor. It was designed to show germany would not be cowered by terrorism. The world is on high alert after the paris attack. Jonathan vigliotti reports. Reporter French Police say they are now searching for a second terrorist directly involved in the attacks in the capital last week. Police seized a car with belgium license plates this morning in northern paris that may be linked to the terror attacks. Several of the terrorists have ties to belgium including the suspect who got away, 26year old salah abdeslam. Overnight Security Forces carried out more than 100 raids in france and belgium. Police seized weapons and arrested more than a dozen suspects. One person hopes the police catch the attackers still on the run. He was in the bataclan theatre when terrorists struck friday night. [ crying ] reporter he broke down as told us he was separated from his girlfriend, who was shot in the shoulder. [ nonenglish language ] reporter i feel so bad, he said. Like a coward for leaving her. Some parisians are still on edge and many are angry about what happened here. A group of french muslims has started a social Media Campaign to condemn the attacks. What they did is terror. And this is not the islam im practicing. [ chanting ] reporter islamic militants claimed responsibility for the attacks that killed 129 people. Secretary of state john kerry who met tuesday with french president Francois Hollande says more needs to be done. We have to step up our efforts to hit them at the core where they are planning these things. Reporter for a second day, french warplanes slammed isis tickets in syria. He insists his brother salah was not connected to the killings and has no idea of his whereabouts. A manhunt is under away across europe for the 26yearold. His family is encouraging him to turn himself in. Authorities say he was last seen entering belgium early saturday morning. And today House Speaker paul ryan called for a pause in Syrian Refugees coming to the u. S. In the wake. Paris attacks. 27 governors say they will try to block Syrian Refugees from resettling in their states. The president has a goal of bringing 10,000 more Syrian People to the u. S. During the current budget year. Here in california, Governor Brown released a statement saying, he will work with president obama to ensure any Syrian Refugees coming to california are, quote, fully investigated in a sophisticated and reliable way. Planned Security Training exercise at levis stadium has been called off. The fbi hasnt confirmed the cancellation but a source with the Santa Clara Police Department Tells our len ramirez the exercise is off. Separately, at Justin Herman plaza and San Franciscos side of the super bowl fan village, more security cameras are already up and running. Levis stadium has started using a stateoftheart bag scanner at some events that quickly scans for things like weapons and alcohol and it has five compartments operating once to speed up the screening process. Breaking news out of boston where a British Airways plane was forced to land after an unruly passenger reportedly tried to force open an exit door midflight over the atlantic. That plane left london for boston early this morning. The female passenger is not identified but Massachusetts State Police say the woman was drunk. The plane landed safely at Logan Airport and that passenger is now in custody. Investigators in russia announced today a homemade explosive device caused a russian passenger plane to crash in egypt last month killing all 224 people on board. Islamic state militants claimed responsibility. Russian president Vladimir Putin vowed to hunt down those behind the attacks. Three suspects still on the loose after robbing a bank in dublin monday morning. Kpix 5s jackie ward joins us live in dublin with more on that story. Jackie. Reporter well, frank, the Quiet Community of dublin is concerned about the recent robberies that took place behind me on dublin boulevard but some people are also sad after learning that two of the suspects are being described as women between their late teens and early 20s. On monday a woman with a red tattoo or circle on her face and another woman entered the bank and demanding cash from the teller and said they knew where the teller lived and were at their home. No weapon was displayed and they got money. The police and the bank wont go on camera. People who do their errands here with their children are talking to us. They are a little on edge. It could have been me i could have been at the bank. I mean, its scary. I would hate for my kids to see that happening. You know, theyre two teenaged girls. Its sad anyways even if it wasnt teenaged girls but i think, yeah, thats kind of crazy. Reporter those girls were seen getting into this old gmc yukon driven by a white man and a witness told police he saw the car getting on 680 northbound. So the one roadblock that police are running into in this investigation is no license plate for the car, only make and model. Jackie ward, kpix 5. The main undercover agent in the trial of it Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow will take the stand today. Chow is a former chinatown gang leader. He is accused of racketeering and ordering at least one killing. Today the judge cleared the courtroom before the testimony started to protect the identity of the undercover agent. Reporters were still able to hear his testimony from a nearby room. Two Alameda County sheriffs deputies say they are getting Death Threats since the release of video showing them hitting the suspects. The deputy filed a cease and desist order to prevent their names from becoming public. An attorney for the accused car thief Stanislav Petrov wants those deputies charged with assault. His face is swollen and his hands were swollen and it appeared that he had broken bones in both of his arms. Sheriffs Department Says the deputies are under investigation. The surveillance videos from thursday in an alley in San Francisco, where deputies caught up with petrov after a highspeed chase that began in san leandro in the east bay. Investigators say a gun and drugs were found inside his car. Some Homeless People in berkeley are making a statement ahead of a City Council Vote today. They staged a sleepin setting up tents on the lawn of city hall to protest a new proposal that would restrict the homeless from carrying items like shopping carts. The restrictions are necessary to keep homeless from blocking sidewalks. We should find out today if the city of San Francisco is on board with a tech Shuttle Program. For more than a year the shuttles have been picking up Silicon Valley tech workers at muni stops for a fee. Today the Municipal Transit Agency will vote on whether to make the Pilot Program permanent. The Shuttle Program faces a legal challenge from environmentalists. Two months after paul walkers daughter filed a lawsuit against porsche, the car company is now speaking out. Court documents filed last week, porsche said the actor is responsible for the 2013 crash that killed him. The company says the Porsche Carrera gt in question was abused and altered prior to the crash. Investigators say the car was going about 90 miles an hour in the fatal crash that killed walker and the driver. A Tour Bus Company had troubles prior to a crash in San Francisco that injured 20 people. City sightseeing operates the bus in fridays crash. Records show the state puc fined the company for violations in 2007. The Company Never paid the fine and eventually closed down and then later reopened. It appears to be intentional and certainly flagrant. And to know that they serve over 1. 5 Million People over the last five years, um, you would expect that a Tour Bus Company would find it in their interests to ensure that their paying customers were as safe as they could be. As for the bus that crashed, the license plate doesnt match the list of vehicles on file with the state. Sources with the state puc telling kpix 5 this bus came from new york and was not checked by the chp during the last round of inspections in september. Six people remain hospitalized. Blizzard warnings are in place for northeast colorado. Snow is pelting most of the state today. Denver has a few inches of new snow, but more than a foot has fallen in several towns and there is more to come before the storm is over. Many schools closed for the day throughout the state. Doctors have performed the most extensive face transplant on a volunteer firefighter out of mississippi. Patrick underwent the Million Dollar procedure on his entire skull and much of his neck. The biggest functional improvement was in the eyelids and then of course removal of the scars for normal facial animation. The 26 hour operation took place in midaugust.
