More than 20 people were taken hot hospital. It happened just before 1 30 p. M. Webb, police say a dump truck slammed on the brakes and a bus swerved to avoid it. 20 people were hurt. A passenger described what happened. Next thing you know, we get this big jolt. Boom. And i looked, i am like oh, my god, the front window is out. The light rail vehicle was going to downtown when a big rig made an illegal turn in front of it. 11 people were sent to the hospital. Those two muni crashes tested the citys emergency response. And the lawyers say this is a pattern, 1 of the last11 of the last 15 terminations have later been reserved. It is a problem with trying to reform the Oakland Police department when discipline, even in a highly publicized case like this one with an act of senseless violence against a person, cannot fix.
