Traveling into downtown San Francisco across the bay bridge toll plaza, heres a live look from the carquinez bridge to the maze, 18 minutes, snow delay into downtown. Two members of the local band tower of power are recovering in the hospital after they were hit by a train in oakland. It happened was night about 10 minutes before their show. The manager of the club said bassist Marc Van Wageningen and Dave Garibaldi were rushing to yoshis from the Waterfront Hotel across the tracks. They tried to beat the train and were hit by a second train going in the opposite direction after waiting for the first one to pass. They were rushed to the hospital responsive. The concert was canceled but some people we talked to had no idea what happened. They just said were sorry but the show is canceled. They are canceling the next two show they are canceled due to an emergency outside. This time last year 9 7 of the state was in a drought. This was the Guadalupe River last year bone dry, weeds and vegetation in the riverbed scattered dead fish. Im standing at the very bottom of the Guadalupe River and there isnt a drop of water in sight. Today, take a look. The river is flowing and some of it right on to the walking trail next to the Guadalupe River. It is filled within its banks and the water is about 9 feet below flood stage today. Experts say it will take years of above average rainfall to replenish ground water reserves. People especially in the Central Valley pump ground water to make up for shortfalls in rain. The Santa Clara ValleyWater District is reminding people that now is not the time to stop conserving. Vallejo police have released a sketch showing one of two men suspected of murdering a pawn shop owner. Officers described the suspect as a white man between 18 to 20 years old. He is tall and thin with blonde hair and blue eyes. Police also released Surveillance Video this week of the two masked gunmen bursting into Pawn Advantage on december 20th. Both men had their faces covered when they opened fire. The gunmen killed a store owner. They also shot a 45yearold employee and killed a dog. Vallejo police are hoping someone will come forward with tips. The mother of a man who was shot and killed by the San Francisco police is firing back at cops now.
