The river is flowing and some of it right on to the walking trail next to the Guadalupe River. It is filled within its banks and the water is about 9 feet below flood stage today. Experts say it will take years of above average rainfall to replenish ground water reserves. People especially in the Central Valley pump ground water to make up for shortfalls in rain. The Santa Clara Valley Water District is reminding people that now is not the time to stop conserving. Vallejo police have released a sketch showing one of two men suspected of murdering a pawn shop owner. Officers described the suspect as a white man between 18 to 20 years old. He is tall and thin with blonde hair and blue eyes. Police also released Surveillance Video this week of the two masked gunmen bursting into Pawn Advantage on december 20th. Both men had their faces covered when they opened fire. The gunmen killed a store owner. They also shot a 45yearold employee and killed a dog.
