Joe vasquez spoke to witnesses. Reporter when gunfire blasted through the middle of the crowded mcdonalds parking lot, officers heard it across the street and rushed to the scene. Tj also heard the shots. Reporter what did it sound like . I heard pow, pow, pow, and i got away. Reporter a driver and a passenger were in a white car in line at the drive through. There were cars in front of it and behind it. And suddenly a man came up and fired at close range at the passenger side door. Both the driver and the passenger got out of the vehicle and the driver was unharmed by the passenger was transported to the hospital. We got the confirmation that the victim expired. Kind of bold right across the street from the police department. It is in the middle of the afternoon. And there was a lot of pedestrian traffic and Motor Vehicle traffic. So it was very brazen. Reporter at this point, the motive is unknown. Police are not sure if this was a random shooting or if the victim was targeted. The gunman got away and possibly got in another car. She was found on saturday afternoon and had been missing for a week. She was last seen at a party in hayward. Police have not said where they found aguilar but believe she was murdered. A press conference will be held this afternoon. Vallejo Police Say Two people were killed after a car crashed into a building. The passenger died at the scene. The 72yearold driver died at the hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the crash and they do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved. Drivers in carpools, van pools, and motorcycles can use them for free if they have fast track flex tags. And they run from dublin at the 680 interchange all the way through livermore. Express lanes operate monday through friday from 5 a. M. Too 8 p. M. More corrosion damage has been found inside the bay tunnel. A chunk broke loose last month and fell on the road. One driver ran over it causing damage. Caltrans calls the corrosion minor. More sophisticated inspections are planned. 4 57 right now.
