Tonight San Franciscos police chief will hold a town hall meeting to talk about a Deadly Police shooting. Police say the man shot and killed by officers left suicide letters. One message was addressed to the officers who shot him. It happened sunday in the parking lot of the mission station in an area offlimits to the public. Police shot the man after he pulled a weapon out of his waistband and it turns out it was an air soft gun. And now appears the man meant to provoke officers. His letter to the officers says quote you did nothing wrong. You ended the life of a man who was too much a coward to do it himself. Please dont blame yourselves. You had no other choice. The father of the 32yearold man who was killed allowed police to release that letter. And just days after the San Francisco 49ers parted ways with coach jim harbaugh the teams ceo is in a bit of legal trouble over a different firing. Two former 49er managers are slapping jed york with an age discrimination lawsuit. The veteran employees were in their late 50s when york fired them and they say it was to make room for younger edgier hires. The complaint quoted york as saying he wanted to hire younger tech workers quote because they made a lot of money. They did a lot of cool things before they turned 40 years old. The district says its offering 10 over three years. Quadrupling previous pay raises. We readily concede our teachers are underpaid and were making a good faith effort to increase compensation. We are going to present a fair contract to teachers within the confines of what we can offer. Without bankrupting the district and having to return the state receivership. Reporter the district says the negotiations arent that far apart. The teachers say they plan to work only their set hours until theres a contract. This could go on then for weeks. It could.
