There is now another confirmed flu related death here in the bay area this season. Contra costa county Health Officials Just Announced a 48 yearold woman died last week. Flu patients are keeping Emergency Rooms busy throughout the bay. Most of those people are getting sick with the h1n1 virus a specific strain of the swine flu. Unlike other flu strains, h1n1 can result in a deadly form of pneumonia even in healthy younger people. Health experts say the best way to prevent it is to get a flu vaccine.
