Reporter now there are candles, balloons and flowers at the scene of the crash. But more than anything, the family wants to keep calebs joy alive. The letter said, if the 49ers organization fails to take action to stop this type of inappropriate workplace behavior, it could result in Police Officers choosing not to work at your facilities. On average, it takes about 130 volunteer officers per event with santa clara cops making up about half the security force. Santa clara Police Officers make time and a half about 50 to 90 an hour. Officers from outside agencies make 65 an hour. Its the stadium that pays their wages not the city. If there arent enough volunteer Police Officers, chief sellers must provide staffing and yes, he can order his officers to work. By the way, the chief issued his own letter saying in part, i will urge the poa leadership to put the safety of our citizens first. I will work with both sides to find a solution. San jose Police Arrested 56 yearold David Lee Russell earlier today. He is a convicted sex offender. The attempted kidnappings happened within days of each other last week. Police say he tried to assault and kidnap both women. Police say russell has a history of violent assaults against women. San jose state is considering sanctions against a top student leader who was arrested for domestic violence. Student body Vice President Joshua Romero was taken into custody last thursday night after an argument with his girlfriend got physical at a hiphop concert on campus. Police say romero constrained the 20yearold woman from kept her from leaving the event center, then pushed her against the wall. He then violated an emergency restraining order by continuing to call her from jail. The student conduct process has a range of sanctions and they range from education, yes, to expulsion. Hanjin shipping company is getting some help to ease a cargo crisis at ports in california and around the world. The problem was caused by hanjins filing for bankruptcy. Now the Parent Company says it will pay to unload cargo from the stranded ships. Some ports and terminals have not had access to the ships and refused to move the companys cargo because of concerns that they wont get paid. That case dates back to 2004. Since then, dozens of other women have come forward with similar allegations. Prosecutors want other cosby accusers to testify during the trial. A former Ucberkeley Law School dean who resigned amid claims of Sexual Harassment is back on campus as a faculty member. The person returned last week after a sixmonth absence. Choudhry will be back in his office. An assistant filed a Sexual Harassment lawsuit saying he hugged, kissed and touched her over several months and the school did nothing to stop it.
