Giving a permits to the nazis and White Nationalist is giving them the ability to cry wolf in a crowded theater. We are committed to freedom of speech god knows in San Francisco but not to engage with people. The park service has to balance their ability to protect this area from misguided views. Patriot prayer is a conservative group and its leader is protrump. But he says they are absolutely not white supremacists. Still, plenty of counter protestors are expected to show up on saturday. A Group Gathering outside the santa clara courthouse wanting to push the judge out of his seat trying to gather signatures for a petition to recall him. But judge persky filed a restraining order to halt their signature gathering efforts. The point is to waste our time waste our money, tie us up in the courts and prevent democracy. Reporter a stanford law professor who is behind this campaign claims persky has shown bias in cases involving violence against women. She considers the sixmonth sentence for Brock Osweiler far too lenient after he sexually assaulted an unconscious woman outside a stanford fraternity party. Very upsetting to the women of this county that he is trying to silence us. I think Sexual Assault survivors are very familiar with the feeling of being silenced. This is just one more attempt by judge persky to further silence Sexual Assault survivors and were not having it. Reporter judge persky argues because he is a state officer, californias secretary of state rather than the county registrar should decide whether a recall effort can move forward. Our role, um, here today is to make sure that judge persky is treated fairly during these recall proceedings. Reporter meanwhile, persky hired an arizona lawyer for his campaign. That tells you everything you need to know about perskys bias against women and his views on Sexual Assault. Reporter but those who do not support the recall say perskys sentence for turner was lawful and followed a recommendation by the probation department. The three people arrested were later released. They were charged with disorderly conduct. Millions of americans use uber to get around but a number of customers are complaining they have been wrongly charged for a cleaning fee. Michelle griego has their story. Reporter Steven Winkler uses uber all the time and never had a problem until he recently spotted an issue on his bank statement. I noticed a 50 charge from uber. Reporter he contacted the Company Online and was told he was charged the cleaning fee. They also sent him pictures from the driver of what appears to be a wet seat but winkler says it wasnt him. Theres no way i could have done that without knowing about it. Reporter the Better Business bureau tells us they have received more than 130 complaints about uber cleaning fees. John mcgahn and crystal drake were charged 150 and were sent a picture taken by the driver but insist it never happened. They need a better system than what they have. Reporter uber is aware of these disputes and in a statement tells cbs news, we are enhancing our internal processes and investing in Additional Resources when investigating cleaning fee claims. While messes and spilled drinks can happen in moving vehicles, we are actively looking into reports where fraud may be detected and will take the appropriate actions on those accounts. After complaining to uber, winkler received a refund. So did drake. My advice for other people would be to take a video every time you get out of your uber. Reporter cleaning fees including not only the cost of cleaning up messes like these but also lost time for the driver. Actually, the ridge that will have the biggest impact on our weather for the next seven days is this one over west texas, Southern New Mexico and southern arizona. Its a big heat dome. And it will move as soon as this low leaves. Its going to leave later on this week. That heat will move from arizona and new mexico into california and have a Significant Impact on our weather away from the water. Next couple of days, status quo. Morning cloud cover, near the water. Afternoon sunshine, the coast you may not clear. But the rest of the bay will. And temperatures will hang out very close to average. Now lets look at what happens this weekend. I know im going a long way from now. This weekend through next monday, that ridge will park itself directly over northern and central california. That means its going to get hot, not hot at the coast. Not hot near the bay. But hot weather inland. We could see 105 to 110 in the central valley. Well likely see some temperatures exceeding 100 degrees inland starting sunday. So the afternoon will be near average through thursday. Well see warming mainly inland starting on friday. Then we get hot over the weekend and its going to stretch into next week so enjoy the cool weather while we have it than we will tomorrow. Well get hotter as we head toward friday. Big changes over the weekend upper 90s, low 100s inland and we stay there through the middle of next week. Look at the contrast. In the 70s near the bay. Thats it.
