New at 5 00, a cemetery in oakland that doubles as a public park is trying to address concerns that park visitors are getting out of hand and even trampling graves. Mountain dew cemetery covers more than 200 acres in the Oakland Hills with more than 160,000 graves. Today we spotted people picnicking right next to the gravesites and dogs running off leash. There have also been complaints about people playing sports right on top of the plots. The cemeterys general manager says the nonprofit welcomes all visitors, but there are limits and cemetery workers have now set up signs that lay out the rules. Also an Alarm Company that patrols there is being instructed to escort violators away. Today, two suspects are recovering after a Police Shooting in brentwood. It happened about 10 00 last night. Detectives wrapped crime tape around the residential neighborhood near birchwood road and Chestnut Street where the suspects car crashed after one was shot at by officers. They think the other suspect was injured in the crash. Theres no word yet on what led up to the shooting. A couple of San Francisco Police Officers are still recovering from a crash that left them trapped inside an overturned patrol car. Sfpd says their car flipped when it hit a boulder on the great highway last night near golden gate park. An emergency crew helped pull the officers from the car and they were rushed to the hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening. Its not clear if the patrol car was speeding before the crash. When they were attempting to negotiate passing another vehicle, their vehicle left the roadway, collided with a boulder in the center medium, and then overturned. Police are interviewing witnesses and asking if anyone has Surveillance Video of the crash. Well, five people are without a home tonight after a care facility went up in flames in unincorporated hayward. That happened about 1 00 this afternoon in the 200 block of sunset boulevard. Heavy smoke was visible from blocks away. Firefighters kept the flames from jumping to other homes in the area. We had black pressurized smoke coming out of the building and heavy fire from the front of the house. So we made an aggressive fire attack inside the structure and we knocked down the fire in about five minutes. Nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Mountain dew police are investigating a power outage that may have been caused by a drone. This is whats left of the small aircraft after it hit a high voltage wire near city Hall Thursday night. A wildlife showdown in the driveway in Southern California and it was all caught on camera. In the video, you see mama bear and her cubs searching a trash bin for a late night snack. But a hungry coyote was not far behind them. The mother bear chased it away, then focused on whatever smelled so good inside the trash can. She soon knocked it over and then she and her cubs started feasting. Well, thats when the coyote returned, determined to get some food for himself. Im very concerned about the cub, actually, and the bear itself getting injured either by the coyotes or other animals in the area. So im hoping the fish and wildlife can come out and maybe capture them and get them tagged and maybe relocated to a safer area. Wildlife officials believe the bear family is the same duo spotted in the neighborhood last week. One skinny little wily coyote. It was and a big mama bear.
