Meantime, right now, again, people here who live here in hollister are being told that their tap water could be contaminated to avoid drinking it and yesterday they were giving out bottled water were assuming again today that they will be handling out boat eld water again. On monday, the new well creek pipeline burst out 1500 gallons of water for hours before it was shut down. Then they turned to residents with a major request to cut back on water use by 30 . They want that level maintained until the repairs are completed. In the east bay, a gaping sinkhole is spelling trouble for sewer lines and derailing commutes for thousands of people. Two Alaska Airlines flight attendants are recovering after being sick on a flight from seattle to san jose. Right now they are trying to assets smoke damage to this restaurant. This has been here, a staple in the park street Business District in alameda, since 1981. So once they assess the damage they will try to figure out when they are going to be able to reopen this restaurant. A look at the nimitz looking good in both directions on 880 northbound from 238 in san leandro to the maze, thats about 16 minutes. And across the span of the san mateo bridge from hayward to foster city, traffic is moving pretty smoothly there, as well. Now, moving over to the Altamont Pass, coming out of tracy youre moving pretty well and then north flynn road at 35 Miles Per Hour so thats pretty slow but definitely could be worse so well take it, right . But if you are traveling along the Golden Gate Bridge from marin county into San Francisco from 580 to the golden gate toll plaza, that will take you about 14 minutes. Yesterday, some families started returning home in guerneville. Many of them didnt know what to expect. My friends called me and said, do you know that your house is under water . Just a year ago, 97 of the state was in dire need of water. Thanks to relentless downpours, more than 40 of california has now come out of the fiveyear drought. Still, officials warn its not the time to revert to old ways and use water recklessly. We have made some permanent changes and those changes are going to help us for the next drought. It could be just around the corner. Experts say it could take several years of above average rainfall to replenish ground water reserves. People in the Central Valley rely on them most. So thats what you were saying yesterday. You will still take the two, three minute showers. Youre not changing anything. Its a habit now. Something i have learned and my sons have learned and i think well really try to implement that for the rest of our lives. And ill track the next big storm heading this way, thats still coming up at 48 after the hour. Vallejo police have released a sketch of one of two suspects accused of killing a pawn shop owner. Officers describe the suspect as a white man about 18 to 20. He is tall with thin and blonde hair and blue eyes. Police also released the Surveillance Video this week of the two masked gunmen rushing in to Pawn Advantage on december 20. The footage shows these men only had their noses and mouths covered when they started shooting. The gunman killed owner and also shot a 45yearold employee and killed a dog in that store. Vallejo police are hoping that someone will recognize the suspects and come forward with information on the crime. Jaywalking in San Francisco is not new and now police are increasing efforts to do something about it. Officers are giving tickets to jaywalkers as well as bicyclists who make illegal moves.
