Local Law Enforcement in the area were able to confirm to the v. I. N. Number that the vehicle did belong to dimaggio. Reporter Hannah Anderson and dimaggio were last seen hiking on wings. A horseback rider spotted them but didnt know until later police were searching for the pair. As far as we know, it didnt look like she was being held against her will. Reporter the sighting launched a massive search in the Southwest Corner of an area called the river of no return wilderness a roadless rugged mountain region. That is one of the challenges here is the access into this area, the time it takes to get there. Reporter hannah went missing last sunday, the same day the bodies of her mother Christina Anderson and her 8 yearold brother, ethan, were found in dimaggios burned california home. Authorities say dimaggio was a friend of the family and had a strange infatuation with the 16 yearold girl. Hannahs father is praying she makes it out alive. Hannah, we all love you very much. If you have a chance, you take it. You run. Youll be found. Reporter authorities believe dimaggio is armed and dangerous and are only using people with Law Enforcement training for the search. Marlie hall for cbs news. Just within the last minute we have received word from the san diego sheriff they have found the girl. She is safe. There is no word on the suspect yet. We will have more on this story in kpix 5 news at 6 30. Friends and family members of sandra coke are anxiously waiting to hear from the Solano County coroners office. Police stopped searching for the missing oakland woman after discovering a female body in a rural area of vacaville last night. The body has not yet been identified. It might take a week to get the results. Sandra coke was last seen august 4 with her exboyfriend, randy alana, who is now a person of interest. Four bodies have been pulled from the wreckage of a plane that crashed into a neighborhood in connecticut. Identities have not been made yet but one of the dead is believed to be a former microsoft executive. The engine didnt sound good. I seen the plane twirling in a spiral down. Reporter a plane smashed into two small homes in connecticut yesterday afternoon causing a massive fire that burned for hours. Its very overwhelming to watch and just still sit here and watch this its very overwhelming. Reporter two people in the plane were killed. The pilot is identified by family members as bill henningsgaard, a former microsoft executive who was taking his 17yearold son maxwell on an east coast tour of colleges. Maxwell is also presumed to have been on the plane. Two kids in the house were also killed. Their mother begging for help as rescuers arrived. She was very, very out of control because she her 1 yearold and 13yearold were inside and the two guys who had run inside said the wing of the plane was sitting on the crib. Reporter today the ntsb scoured the crash site looking for clues to the cause of the crash. The faa says the pilot was in constant communication with the control tower and did not send out a distress call. The airplane impacted the ground and the house inverted or upsidedown in a 60 to 70 degree angle. If it is confirmed the pilot is microsoft executive bill henningsgaard, this will not be his first crash. Four years ago he splashed down on the Columbia River in washington state. He and his 84yearold mother were rescued by a passing boat as the plane began to sink. We also want to update you now on our san diego story that we have been following all week. In other news now, on to bart, the immediate threat of a bart strike is over for now although some argue its just pushing the inevitable down the road. Both management and the unions say they are still pushing to Reach Agreement on a contract as soon as possible. And don knapp is at caltrans headquarters in oakland where both sides have been at it all day. Don. Reporter thats right, juliette. Very little activity outside although we just saw a chief negotiator tom hock walk by, no sense of urgency, says there is some movement going on inside. And a bart spokesman a little while ago said the sides are working hard. Governor brown in an effort to defuse tensions keep the system running and avoid a strike costly to just about everyone in the bay area has said he will go to court sunday morning and seek an order to impose a 60day coolingoff period if theres no agreement before then. That will keep the trains running but some fear it will take away the pressure to settle. We wish that the governor had not made an announcement that he was going to go seek for a coolingoff period because it would have been better if both parties felt the kind of pressure necessary to arrive at a deal. Reporter after the unions agreed to end a fourday strike and entered a 30day contract extension, the month passed without much progress. Just as unions prepared to walk out again, the governor stepped in and asked for a week delay while a panel reviewed the facts. Now he has those facts and has already filed papers seeking a coolingoff period if bart and the unions cant reach an agreement by sunday midnight. The big fear when it comes to the 60day coolingoff period, which is why we try to prevent them for as long as possible, is because everyone is afraid it will slow things down. But no one wants to slow talks downright now. Everyone wants to continue to be at the table as long as possible negotiating. Reporter we should see whether the bart teams and the unions do better or worse without the pressure of a strike. Live in oakland, don knapp, kpix 5. Reporter before it comes to this, parking officers have one more step to take, a picture of the infraction in action. In San Francisco, they are using these little machines to both write a ticket and take photographic evidence. This is a logical progression in technology that gives both parties more information about what happened in this incident. Reporter because the city thats infamous for handing out parking tickets also has a lot of drivers contesting them. We put a lot of resources into the hearing process when people complain. Reporter there are so many complaints one driver started keeping track creating a website. We spoke with him about the new policy by phone. Surprised they havent done it already. Reporter he thinks it will force officers to get real. They would have to stop and consider and say yes, this person really is in this other persons driveway. Reporter its not like taking pictures is new technology but this only became mandatory in july. Some officers we spoke with off camera are concerned about taking extra time and say the machines dont have flashes so they cant take pictures at night. But the Municipal Transportation Agency Spokesman Says it is better than nothing. Does provide for clarity when you take a general picture. They are getting more and more invasive. Thats the situation that coach talks to me about a lot and i understand that and i got greedy. And as a quarterback you cant get greedy. I could have easily ran it in and i got greedy didnt want to throw a touchdown pass. When you look at matt flynn youre not going to be wowed because he is the biggest strongest fastest best arm, okay, but thats not what being a Great Quarterback in this league is all about. Being a Great Quarterback in this league is more about the mental part of the game than it is the physical part of the game. Its timing, its decision making, its accuracy.
