Senator Mitch Mcconnell introduced the bill on the senate floor tonight. The legislation i just layed down is a healthcare freedom act and it restores freedom to americans that obama care took away. But Republican Leaders said they are not actually trying to replace the aca, they claim its essentially a place holder bill intended to trigger negotiations with the house. I need assurances from the speaker of the house and his team that if i vote for the skinny bill, it will not become the final product. Speaker paul ryan responded with the statement calling the skinny bill the only path ahead and said the house was willing to negotiate. Senator john mccain urged his colleagues to seek a bipartisan solution. One of the major problems with obama care was that it was ran through congress by democrats without a single republican vote. The water agency says the spillways have potential issues that could jeopardize its ability during a flood.
