Herrera was acting erratically the day after his arrest police were called sunday evening to his mothers apartment on Dublin Meadows street. He left the hospital that day against the doctors advice. And his frightened sister called her Boyfriend Police say herrera confronted officers with a metal baseball bat he took the baseball bat, hit the officer in the hand. He pulled the bat in an upward motion officers say the officer fired the shots that killed herrera. He has a history of weapons possession, asults, drug use and resisting arrest.
