These grads are just a smattering of the 224 students who took advanced placement exams only to find out scores hd been tossed out by the board because the school failed to follow the rules regarding seating during the tests. J]a we told but this freeway being built on sensitive wetlands. That money could be spent on roads anywhere in california. We bring you whats happening. Bay area is considered 8th mostcongested spot in the world caltrans is planning to spend 300 million in the little town of willis, traffic is actually going down. A ceo would be fired for this horrible destructive costly decision making. Rich is a petroleum engineer. He joined a coalition of groups fighting this project. Patrol now guards the site but caltrans is determined to keep going. This has been a top priority of many local agencies including the council of governments for decade autos willis is 135 9d miles north of San Francisco. Major route north to eureka. Considered to be the lifeline to the north coast. That may be true. But by the time 101 goes through willis there are only 8,000 vehicles per day on the road. Caltrans wants to build a four lane freeway designed to carry 5,000 vehicles an hour, 300 million for six miles of freeway all designed to bypass this bottle neck where 101 turns into main street. Two lanes of traffic heading north to gridlock. Others say the solution is way too expensive and does too much damage to wetlands. Its too destructive ask only serves a very, very small segment of the traffic. Remember the bottle neck . 70 is locals just driving around town. Most cars wont use the bypass to. It says level of service is not determined for federal eligible for aid. It means its up to the state and caltrans not the federal government.
