Chp confirms that a 3, or possibly 4yearold boy has died in that crash. We have video from the scene. Chp says the crash happened around 6 30, the driver of a white sequoia slammed into the vehicle. The woman has been arrested for suspected felony drunk driving. Now the driver of the camry was also taken to the hospital. She is in bad condition but no official word on her condition. I guessed a guy like gearrin, he does put the ball on the ground. That will be the challenge here against goldschmidt. He is looking for a mistake up. One other thing to think about, when gearrin, rather, will sometimes tend to not pay real close attention to a runner. And give up a good jump. Lamb is not a big base hitter, but has five steals in six tries. So you have to be mindful of him. Goldschmidt who has been struggling at the plate lately, tonight has walked, struck out twice, hit a single to center in the eighth, hit by a pitch in the tenth. So he has had one hit in three official at bats. Middle infield, short lead by lamb at first. Ball one. He had a great slider going when he started the inning against owings, struck out on three straight sliders. I dont think you could lose it out in left field, although i dont know, were kind of in unchartered waters here. So he is behind him, 2 and 0, gearrin who played in left field for just the one hitter, first giant pitcher to play anywhere in the field since noah lowery back in 2007, nine years ago were told. The outfield was very deep, gorkys, pence in right. That was a big pitch and it was a beauty. It was perfect. I think if youre throwing sliders from 3 4 lease, seven is a lot. But from down around the sides, i dont think its a big deal. The driver of the sequoia was transported to john muir hospital and was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driver. The driver of the camry was also taken to john muir hospital. She is in pretty bad shape. As you said, both lanes were closed for a couple of hours. All lanes are now open. But when we first met, i think of the first year that we met, we were at School Together. It was a boarding school. I was a day student at the school. He was a boarding student, and he was still at that time, i guess he was 16 or 17, Something Like that. But, anyway, expresident s children, they still have secret service until theyre 18. Jimmy oh. And so he at that time still had secret service, and so they had picked a room for him on campus. He had a roommate. They each had their bedrooms and then there was a common room, and that room was such so that it had a big window in the living room, the common room area, and it was right, looked down over a parking lot and just at the other side of the parking lot, or along the side of the parking lot was this building where in the basement of it was sort of, secret Service Headquarters on campus. Like the guys hung out there. You know . They had to keep a fairly low profile on campus. Anyway, theyd hang out because they had a perfect view of johns window and everything. So shady, hawthorne and i used to, like, sneak up to the door of johns room, and just like crack it open a little bit. And hed be in the common room and shady and i would like, run in and like dive on him. [ laughter ] jimmy and then time it. Wed be like below the window. [ laughter ] and held for like you know ten seconds or 15 seconds or something, and wed pop up look out the window. The guys would be [ laughter ] jimmy i love that.
