An ember from the brush fire landed on the thatched roof of the thrilla gorilla ride. Thankfully no injuries have been reported but some rides are closed at this hour. Russian hackers were able to access stub hub and break in using emails and accounts that were taken when they were able to get stub hub passwords. So they went in and bought tickets to yankee games, broadway shows, and Justin Timberlake concerts using the user accounts. They resold the tickets for a profit. Now seven people have been arrested. What the District Attorney called an International Cyber crime ring. The money has been paid back to stub hub users, and the bay area man who started the investigation told us he noticed suspicious activity while he was working at stub hub. Just a large number of customer accounts being touched and transactions occurring on them. As soon as that was detected, they would have we kicked off an investigation. Reporter its worth noting that hackers didnt break into stub hub, they were able to pose as stub hub users by stealing passwords. Which brings us to a big piece of advice from the cybersecurity industry. That is, its best to use different passwords for different websites. That way, if one website, lets say target, for example, is hacked, the hackers cant use your target password on another website, like stub hub. So little variety can be helpful when cyber shopping. And so if you were to say call the police, and ask the police to eject the person, the police would likely say, hey, its a civil matter. The Ocean Temperatures out to the west are still pretty mild. Earlier this morning, off monterey bay, they set a record warm ocean temperature at 67 degrees early this morning. These numbers, 5 to 10 degrees above average. Even with the lateday sea breeze youll have it tough to cool below the sea surface temperatures offshore. Muggy low 60s for lows out on the coast tonight. The winds are on shore. Thats helping the inland locations like the trivalley dropping into the 70s and 80s for now. The sea breeze will start to weaken, which means the only relative cooling with the sea breeze will be along the immediate coast. The marine layer will get squished down and at times knocked offshore. Well see more sunshine on the coast. Setting up for the day tomorrow that will see highs soaring into the 90s.
