This dates back to saturday night when this incident took place, a sergeant good no a car accident on the way to 73rd street in oakland and the suspect opened fire. We learned the suspect was not involved in the accident, but rather, in the area for a gathering, and walked up to the officers car, following the accident and fired a shot Police Officers say the suspect made statements before the shooting that may indicate this could have been targeted. They were able to track him down at stockton this morning and when they got inside, they found an important piece of evidence. A search warrant was written for the res accident that was used was recovered. Oakland police are currently speaking with the suspect, and that case will now be handed off to the d. A. s office. Two teenagers accused of setting fire to the Community Center last week will not be tried as adults. San mateo District Attorney says theyre from millbright and been charged in juvenile court.
