Not guilty is the plea from the two Alameda County deputies accused in a brutal beating. Deputies paul weaver were in court yesterday. Both facing felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon. Surv the deputies are seen repeatedly striking the suspected car thief. They hit him with their baton. One of the most savage beatings. It is always disturbing. Police use of force is disturbing and when its captured, its disturbing. That doesnt make it illegal. The deputies were put on paid leave following the release of that video and they are scheduled to be back in court in july. An east bay man who blames Ford Motor Company for his wifes death suffered a loss in court. His wife was one of five women killed in the 2013 limousine fire on the san mateo bridge.
