Once again, its still wet in San Francisco. Some of the airport delays. It been a major problem because this is one of the busiest travel days of the year. San francisco still has an hour delay. And los angeles all clear. Oakland and san jose also not seeing anything more than about 15 minutes. If youre traveling east, another storm system had delays in boston, new york, philly, d. C. , also in new jersey. So as we go into the next couple of days, you want to call ahead and get to the airport extra early. Wind forecast shows some of those gusty winds throughout the day. Even during evening commute, 7 00 this evening, winds rushing on shore at about 30 miles an hour. And it stays up as we go into tonight, even as rain takes a break. We will still have gusty wind witnesses. In the futurecast, as we go into tonight, once again, rain tapering off. Mostly clear skies. And we are going to catch a break. This is great news because the next storm system arrives on Christmas Eve. We will have a bit of a time to dry out. And we start to see scattered showers moving in by Late Wednesday night into early thursday. And thats when we will also feel some very chilly temperatures. This next storm system will be very cool one. And highs reaching into the low 50s and peninsula as well as south bay, also San Francisco high of 52 degrees on Christmas Eve. It is going to be cool, wear extra layers along with rain boots and nice, thick, heavy coat. Christmas eve storm moves in. We start to see heavier rain moving in as we go into thursday morning. But this is not going to bring us much rain as we just had but snow levels dropping to near 3,000 feet. Not only for the sierra, that includes bay area. And im thinking we have a slight chance of snow on those peaks of mt. Hamilton. Something well be watching for, keeping you up to date on. Into the weekend, we will have chilly temperatures and freezing temperatures expected in the morning. Look at sunday, only see highs around 50 degrees.
