We have the coverage from San Francisco. Reporter after a long day of waiting at sfo general, a motorcade and Law Enforcement detail left the hospital. Its presumed that House SpeakerNancy Pelosis husband is still recovering from an assault with a hammer. We ran into one of the pelosis children, paul jr. , asking how his dad was doing, and his reply was that theyre quote, rebuilding him carefully. Brooke jenkins was at a halloween event and told us she expect the to file state charges against the suspect on monday. At this point, anticipate filing attempted murder and residential burglary and several other felonies. Reporter other agencies are carrying out a parallel investigation. As more details on the attack are coming to light. San Francisco Police say zip ties were found at the scene, though they did not say how many or the intended purpose for them. The District Attorney says investigators want to clear up a few things. One is that at the time the suspect entered the pelosi home, that he was in fact in search of mrs. Pelosi. Musks tweet was in response to a tweet by former secretary of state hillary clinton, referencing an article about the alleged attacker. Well, musk responded, there is a tiny possibility there is more to this story than meets the eye, with the link to a website that has a history of publishing false information. Its not a surprise. Police are investigating after a person was shot in the diamond district. It happened on mcarthur boulevard. One person was shot and rushed to the hospital. No word on how theyre doing. University police say this happened around 3 30 this afternoon near the health center. The victim was walking when a group riding bikes approached. One of the cyclists used a racial slur, struck the victim on the back and rode away. The primary suspect is the one in black pants. The victim was not physically hurt, and they are an affiliate of the university, but thats not clear if it means student or staff member. In berkeley, police are investigating an aggravated assault at oxford and addisson. It happened around 2 00 this morning.
