David robson says the county Coroners Office called him last to warn him preliminary autopsy results indicated his sister may have died from meningitis and they told him he and his son may have been exposed. David robson says he still cant believe his sister laura robson is gone at 53. Last week, sheriffs deputies told him a muni bus driver found his sister in the back of a bus tuesday at the end of a line in daly city. She was sitting upright and he discovered her and said she was deceased at the time. So i guess he called the local police department. Reporter later david said he was shocked when the coroner told him how his sister may have died. From the preliminary examination, he thought it was meningitis and that they wanted me and anybody in contact with laura to seek medical help. Reporter david and his 5yearold son went to a hospital in eureka received antibiotics as a precaution. If Lab Tests Confirm she died from meningitis she would be the sec person in the bay area to die from the in two weeks. Last weekend, a man died of meningitis. Marin health and Human Services then sent letters to 250 people who may have had contact with him at a soul cycle class. Robson says laura had no connection to that class and had recently undergone shoulder surgery and complained of having a severe headache but did not mention other stomplz meningitis. For now hes focused on remembering his sister who grew up in san carlos loved horses and was a caring friend. She was well loved by all her friends. That was the biggest thing. She had a big heart. And now the Sheriffs Office is asking for help finding him. 22yearold eddie newt led them on a high speed chase near richmond. They say he struck two cars during the chase sending both drivers to the hospital. A patrol car also damaged during the chase. Police later found the suspects car abandoned about newt has a Million Dollar warrant for his arrest in connection to burglaries. An amber alert was in fect less than two hours thanks to a Good Samaritan who heard the alert and took action. Alert for the 3yearold boy went into effect around noon today. Boy was last seen yesterday afternoon in a blue minivan with a family friend. The boys mother had left him with that friend while she went out to run errands. About hour after the alert went out, a bystander spotted the minivan and called 911. Officers found the boy and the woman tammy martin and reunited the boy with his family.
