If you dont have the package mix, the times of seasonings you can put in there . Can you put in things like chili powder, paprika, i would put in maybe some more garlic salt. Things like that. Pepper. Whatever you like really will work. I have a friend that just uses old bay. Can can i say that . You put this on way ahead of time . No, you put this on underneath the broiler, into the oven for eight minutes. It gets nice and brown. Then you take these, put them in your slow cooker. Do you feel like cooking . Sure, a little bit. Into the bowl. I have some hoisin sauce. Thats just chinese barbecue sauce, plum sauce, whatever you have. In there goes ketchup, also brown sugar. Give that a stir. You always need something wet in the slow cooker. You cannot do slow cooker dry. Right . So put that in there nice an thick. Give it a toss once it is in there.
