Police say 23yearold aaron smith was working third shift last thursday, patrolling a black neighborhood, when he card game. There was a slight struggle that continued for about a block or so, after which time, the officer fired and shot and killed the suspect. Reporter smiths lawyer says because he says gunn was beating the officer with some sort of he thinks the arrest is all politics. We believe that these charges were brought to prevent public unrest.
