Some struggling to bus, others covered in blood. , but these were the lucky ones. The 18yearold from palm desert who called her family to let them know she survived the crash but didnt know where she was being taken. Heres what we know from passengers on the bus. Most were students from the Southern California area on the way to visit humble State University for the schools spring preview day. The schools website is one of many ways frantic family are getting and sharing information. We found photographs and video from people who said they first heard an explosion then heard the noise. School resources says they have pulled information to help them. Right now were trying to get information to figure out what caused the fed ex driver to cross the median. There were 34 taken to Bay Area Hospital from red bluff to chico. Right now officials are trying to figure out why that fed ex truck veered off the road.
