The outofcontrol wildfire just north of los angeles is forcing the evacuation of 1500 homes. And officials fear it could get much worse. If we were to get very extreme fire behavior, were up to 45,000 homes in those areas. Reporter l. A. s fire chief blaming a dangerous cocktail of tripledigit heat, bonedry terrain, and high winds for this growing inferno. These firefighters among 900 trying to stave off disaster, rushing into neighborhoods. Their hoses, the only things standing between homes and an aggressive wall of fire. Others flying dangerous water drops. Were kind of getting antsy to get everyone out. Everyone has dogs and animals and babies and kids. Were just trying to get out. How problematic is that . Well, they were not too happy with the idea of tim kaine. Theres no question about that. His support of trade deals in the past. Hes since recanted his support of the transpacific partnership. They say he hasnt always been out front on the fight for things like gay rights. Hes prolife, even though he supports a womans right to choose, as well. He says hes against abortion. There have been some questions in the Progressive Movement for tim kaine. Issues about the banks, as well. But i think his performance yesterday went a ways to quiet some of that criticism. Especially reaching out to latinos with all that talk in spanish at the event. Reporter arnoldo riossotos family says the young man who prompted a Police Response that day has the capacity of a 4yearold. They were walking down the street near their home.
