A pricey new entertainment offering for the new stadium. And taking a live look at 5 38. View from our east bay hills from the Golden Gate Bridge at 6 38. Lisa will tell you how warm its going to get today and especially tomorrow. The forecast coming up in a few minutes. Welcome back. Caltrans officials have explained more about why they need to close part of the San Francisco freeway next holiday weekend. The closer will take place from july 2nd to july 7th. All lanes of the northbound 280 will be shut down from chavez street to fifth street. And this is the reason why. This hinge will be replaced by one three times as big. The hinge is what connects the two sections together. You can only build it so long before it breaks. Thats why the hinge. The reason why we are replacing these hinges is they have deteriorated to a point where they are no longer functioning as intended. Two more hinges will be installed over labor day weekend. It costs about 1 million to replace each of the hinges. Coming up at 6 42, looks look we have a Beach Weekend ahead. Thats right. You can see the sun beginning to peek out but we still have the marine player. Mid70s in santa cruz. The numbers climbing all around the bay area big time tomorrow, and the heat will remain for part of the upcoming work week. Last weekend of june and your forecast coming up. Also next, a close play at the plate plays a huge role in deciding last nights as game in miami. Is coco crisp safe or out . So we made our own commercial to tell you why. First, chex makes lots of gluten free flavors. Which is a huge thing for us. And theres seven to choose from. Like cinnamon, honey nut, and chocolate. I tell them you guys are gonna turn into chocolate chex i like cinnamon, greg is a honey nut nut. When you find something this good, you want to spread the word. [ all ] were the pearsons, and we love chex a way to extract more money from fans or a reflection of a fan base in Silicon Valley . Thats the question from niners fans after the team unveiled a pricey new pregame pavilion clearly not aimed at the traditional tailgater. David louie has the details. There will be plenty of food for sale inside levis, but for some the niners and Great America are offering the fans a new pregame experience. A pavilion that will host a new red zone alley. A public setting with meat served at carving stations, and a bar plus the cheerleaders. It will cost 850 a person for tengame pass, but you have access to Great Americas roller coaster. Its an alternative to tailgating. You have people coming with the family who want to get early and maybe beat traffic, who want to have a space to take their kids so this is another addon to that. We want to make sure we have a bunch of different amenities and offerings for all walks of fans. This season Ticket Holder and his family will be tailgating. He thinks it is a welcome option. I think what the 49ers have done is they have opened it up to all sorts of people. Im a blue color guy, i dont make a lot of money but i have two tickets to every game. So with a little bit of planning and some responsibility, its possible. Tailgaters will face new restrictionings at levi stadium. Only twelve out of nineteen parking spots allow tailgating. Of the twelve, only nine allow open flames and some banned them. I think they are cautious this year, they dont know how its going to go and it makes sense to make decisions that make the best sense for him and their company. But we appreciate the partnerships we have with all of our companies here. On sunday the area outside the stadium will be closed all day to set up barricades and create a pedestrian zone. We will make changes over the course of the first year, but we have to do a good job testing everything now and educating our fans before opening. In santa clara, david louie, abc7 news. The last week of summer, 4th of july ahead wow, you have it laid out. And the important thing is how the weather will be for all of it. We will turn up the heat just a little today and a lot tomorrow. And wait until you see what will happen on monday. Yes, we are looking at some warm weather headed your way for most of you today. But if you are at the coast, lucky you because temperatures will be just in the 60s. Although the winds will be pretty gusty today. Up to 30 miles an hour right at the beach. So if you want the cooler weather, you know the routine. You have to grab a sweatshirt if you head toward the shoreline. Santa cruz, you see some of the fog with 57 in oakland. We have had a little bit of fog move into livermore this morning. Its 60 and sunny in san jose with 55 in San Francisco. Heres a look at emeryville where its still pretty gray out there and the low overcast will be hanging on for another hour or hour and a half into the east bay and then we get into the full sunshine. 53 santa rosa. And the delta breeze allowing for temperatures to warm today but not much. We will stay in the 80s today for the furthest inland valleys and a few clouds with 54 in livermore right know. Heres a look at the marine layer. Looks beautiful right now from the tower camera where we are look at clouds around the bay. Warmer for most of you today but the hot, hot weather arrives tomorrow threw monday. Lasts until tuesday into the inner valleys. And the marine layer gets shunted right to the coast tomorrow. It does back off a bit. So as the high gets overhead, the hottest weather arrives with very little of that marine push. But it wont disappear all together. You saw the live pictures allowing for the coastal fog. It dissipates quickly. And as the high gets a little closer tomorrow, that is when we will feel that big warmup. So the upper elevations, they warm up quicker and they will retain the heat so the east bay valleys will get into a little bit of an offshore push. That means high fire danger, especially in tomorrow and monday. So for the week ahead, in san jose a high near 80. Look at mid80s tomorrow. Low 90 monday. And numbers back to your average next thursday and friday as we get into the fourth of july. 94 in yosemite. 80 in the northern sierra. 65 in monterey. 82 los angeles. 75 in san diego. And with the fog at the coast, ocean beach will be pretty nice, in the low 60s. 76 palo alto and 72 richmond. Another look outside where it is still gray from the roof camera. Later on this evening we will retain some of the warmth. Mid06ths at at t park for the game tonight and dropping for the 7 day forecast. Steady warming temperatures today, tomorrow, monday and still hot tuesday. We will keep the on shore flow confine in the coast and for the 4th of july pretty typical around here. A warm day of 100 degrees. One and a half. But tomorrow morning when the pride parade gets underway . Nice and sunny and the mid60s. Thats good because you dont want it too hot and sunny on a parade. Jacques that will be quick, though. Thank you, lisa. In sports, the giants try to get out of a slide. Last night the giants struggles continued.
