Developing news out of San Jose State University where sue sexual assaults occurred on campus within hours of each other. One happened before 7 00 last night and the other at 9 20. University of police say the same man came up behind the victims touching them inappropriately. Hes described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old with a mustache wearing a black hoodie and pants. He left the scene of both incidents riding on a bicycle. Both students who are students were not harmed. Extensive damage in antioch after a driving lost control of his car, crashing into a utility box, two cars, two fences and two homes. That crash even knocked out power for a time to 250 residents. Abc7 News Reporter Lisa Amin Gulezian has the details from antioch. Went through the front of the garage, out the wall over here. Came out the wall. Im guessing he then flipped, took out the fence right here and then landed right in our front yard. This is what kyle boone woke up to. A black toyota that slammed upside down into the side of his home. It cracked the walls and shattered the windows in the far bedroom where an elderly relative was sleeping. The car was two feat from your moms head . Yes. The car could very easily came through the wall and on top of her. Luckily it didnt. In fact no one was hurt, not even the 19yearold driver who apparently admitted to the police he was going 60 in a 30 miles an hour zone. Do you think he was going 60 miles an hour . No. He is outraged. His house got the brunt of it. The driver hit both of his parked cars, crashed through a garage, a wall and a fence. He just bought the house in november. But think about the people who are being suffered for no cause. He was driving carelessly and my house is broken. Who should i blame . Each Antioch Police blamed the driver who tested negative for alcohol and drugs, but because officers didnt actually see the crash or what led up to it, the driver wasnt ticketed, cited or detained. Its reckless and idiotic. Should he be doing it . No. All the victims insist the city needs to crack down on speeders on buchanan road. They arent hard to find. An antioch man is recovering from a pit bull attack that injured him, his wife and their two dogs. John suffered a severe hand wound. His dogs have deep puncture wounds and muscle tears. He said the attack happened when he and his wife were walking their dogs last week. According to police, three pit bulls jumped a neighbors fence. They immediately charged, circled, got in position and started drawing blood. Just started attacking. Wadsworth used a pocketknife to drive the dogs away. The pit bulls are now in quarantine. They arent licensed with the city. Wadsworth asked that they be euthanized. The attack happened just yards from a preschool. San Francisco Police are defending the use of deadly force by an officer yesterday morning after they say he was charged by an aggressive pit bull mix. The dog, nicknamed psycho, had been in the pound twice not because he was vicious but because his owner had been arrested for trespassing. Neighbors are aware of the dogs reputation. The dogs owner was arrested after he was found living in a vacant Apartment Unit with that dog. Police want to know if psycho was trained to attack. Police were called to the intersection of 17th street and treat avenue just before 12 30 yesterday afternoon. They found a body in the back seat of that black s. U. V. It has utah plates. Investigators arent saying how or where the victim died. A Memorial Service with will be held today for a 14yearold girl who died after being hit by a light rail train. Danica garcia was riding her bike to Delmar High School on january 17th when she was hit while crossing the vta light rail tracks. A witness said danica was wearing headphones and the arms at the Railroad Tracks did not come down. Sheriffs department is investigating. They are for the operating room, for babies being delivered, but not the bar. New regulation took effect january i. Its intended to protect customers from foodborne illnesses. Some chains like subway already use gloves in their food handling, but the new law will include chefs and even bartenders. I feel like people in my industry and especially at this caliber of restaurant we definitely maintain our cleanliness standard. She pours dozens of drinks within minutes. The coowner of the restaurant has signed an online petition to exempt bartenders from the new regulation. One of her customers is a nurse at Kaiser Hospital in oakland. We have breaking news out of san jose where police are investigating a homicide near the citys piedmont hills neighborhood. Police responded to a report of a stabbing on sun crest avenue around 1 30 this morning. They found a man with a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. He has not yet been identified and there is no word on suspects or arrests. A man found shot in a truck at a Los Angeles College has died. He had gunshot wounds. Police say the man was found in Critical Condition around 7 30 last night in a parking lot at los angeles valley college. He has not yet been identified. Police say its unclear if he was shot there or at another location. There were no classes or School Activities going on at the time. No word yet on suspects or arrests. There are indications that a mall shooting in maryland yesterday could have been much worse. Investigators say they detonated crude explosive devices found inside the gunmans bag. They say he shot and killed two people, then himself inside the mall in columbia. Police have been using dogs to search the mall, which will remain closed today. Abc News Reporter Chuck Severson has the story. It was just before lunchtime at this mall, a halfhours drive from washington d. C. There were a lot of people here at the Columbia Mall saturday morning at 11 15. This was a very scary incident. Gunshots rang out. Boom and then followed by four or five more, boom, boom, boom. People were screaming, running and scrambling for cover. My manager yelled, everyone get to the back s. W. A. T. Teams respond within two minutes. They safely directed people into a parking lot, some in tears as they returned to their cars or bored buses. People were running either straight down the mall corridor or running into stores. I dont know how safe it would be to keep running in the open. People found three people dead on the upper level. They were 21yearold brianna delolo and 25yearold tyler johnson, both of maryland. The third body is believed to be that of the shooter. When our officers approached, he was obviously deceased, but he also still had a large amount of ammunition still on and about him. Because of concerns about weapons and the possibility of explosives, police proceeded with caution. Authorities are still working to verify the suspects identity and his motive for killing the two skateboard shop employees. After a thorough search, authorities gave the mall an allclear but it remained closed the rest of the day. Chuck severson, abc news, new york. New details on a Little League coach who is suing a 14yearold player for half a Million Dollars. Allen beck of roseville said he suffered a torn achilles tendon after the player carelessly tossed his helmet at him during a postgame celebration. He said he will drop the lawsuit if he gets an apology. However, a lawyer for the 14yearold said the family does not believe their son did anything wrong. A hearing is set for march. This is in association with an area of low pressure that is spinning west of the Central Coast and its pulling up the high, the midlevel clouds and maybe a rain drop or two. About. 001 is about all i can find around the Central Coast. Other than that the cloud cover thins out again today. Emeryville is sitting in the 40s. 44 in oakland. Its 52 in San Francisco. Half moon bay is about 12 degrees cooler this morning. 49 in los gatos with san jose a little warmer at 50. Sutro tower. Hit aluminumma the cool spot as well as napa and santa rosa. Low 40s for the friends out in the livermore valley. Concord at 43 degrees. From our roof camera, you will notice the cloud cover to start out. But as the afternoon progresses we will see more sunshine and temperatures today, once again, not struggling too much to make it into the 60s and 70s. But that on shore flow is going to conclude up and we will see a little cooling throughout the coast. But the middle part of the week, thats going to be the warmest, the driest, the sunniest, the beginning to the middle part and then changes begin by later on in the day on wednesday. Looks like rain headed our way on thursday. Heres the huge ridge. The storm offshore. The area of low pressure here bringing up the clouds. Looks like this ridge will begin to weaken as it does on tuesday and wednesday. Then we get a low dropping down and that should allow for a little bit of rain headed our way. Maybe. 01 to a quarter inch of rain. Before then we are looking mild. The mildest day today, cooling back monday and tuesday due to westerly winds, and a little bit of a bump before we bring in the much cooler air, the chance of showers, and it will stay rather seasonal into next weekend. Water officials all across marin county will gather at the civic center on tuesday for a drought summit.
