Meantime officers took no chances at park Elementary School. Students said they did hear shots fired. Parents are still arriving to walk some of the kids out. Were also told that some officers in this incident did sustain some minor injuries. They were treated and they are all right. But clearly this is going to be a crime scene for quite a while. Now a manhunt is on for this man, lawyer Dushan Mcbride of san pablo. Police call the shooting a domestic dispute. Investigators say franklin was in her car when she was killed this morning at 29th and ream avenue. Her children both under ten years old were in the back seat. Imagine the kids and witnessing your own mother being killed. I just my heart breaks for those kids. Surveillance cameras on nearby homes capture the shooting and the suspect getting into a silver car leaving the scene. Police say they received a call about a domestic dispute minutes earlier. And we have some developing news in oakland. We are just learning that a third person killed in last weeks massive Apartment Fire has been identified as wilson. Four people died in the fire and now a temporary shelter is set up to house the dozens who were displaced is about to close. That has some worried they are going to be homeless yet again. I think they need to get it together and help us like they did the people on welfare. Reporter what have they offered you . Nothing. Reporter monday night just 11 people stayed here but they included two mothers with children. In the meantime the red cross, the city of oakland and Alameda County have combined efforts opening this local Assistance Center near city hall. The center is offering assistance with housing, food, health and social services. But for some its not enough. They only gave me 125. My tools i lost in the building cost 800. That was way more than that. And they only gave me 120 and i bought this. Weve been doing the best job we can. Reporter oakland assistance city administrator told us finding housing for the 80 people displaced by the fire has been a challenge. Not only because of a chronic shortage, but also because the victims have diverse needs. People with various challenges, physical disabilities, seniors, families with children, singles, mothers with children, even taking that into account in terms of who gets the priority. An adult and four juveniles suspected in a string of robberies and burglary are now in custody after flipping their car during a police chase last night in oakland. The car overturned as it exited northbound interstate 880 near fifth avenue and embarcadero. Ending a chase that began in east oakland. All five were taken to the hospital. Police say they are suspected of robberies in oakland and san leandro, and hayward. A judge today sentenced the owner of a Granite Company to a year of home detention for the deaths of two workers. They were crushed by falling granite slabs back in 2014. 66yearold pleaded guilty in january to two felony counts of Involuntary Manslaughter and three labor Code Violations in connection with the employees deaths inside a shipping container at galaxy granite. Also sentenced to two years probation. To fremont where there is concern about what some consider a dangerous crosswalk near a school, a kriefr hit a child yesterday and a crossing guard was injured at that same intersection last year. This intersection, though, has seen two pedestrians mowed down by cars this school year, most recently yesterday morning.
