Reporter well this is where investigators interviewed pashilk after he was arrested, according to the probable cause document, he was being surveillanced by those investigators since july of 2015. They supposedly had video of his car at 17 different instances of roadside arson and in one instance a witness reported seeing pashilk or the driver of the vehicle throw something out of the window of his car. He entered the courtroom with his back turned to cameras after he passed out in the hallway. He told the judge he was okay and mumbled yes and asked if he understand the charges. The clayton fire is the most significant fire he is accused of setting. Im just surrounded by all of this turmoil and it is not right. Reporter he is charged with 12 counts of arson and one count of attempted arson. According to the probable cause document, his vehicle was spotted on 17 separate occasions of roadside grass and brush fires. Between july 2nd, 2015 and august 13th, 2016, the date of the clayton fire and only then did investigators have enough evidence to establish probable cause. You have one shot at this.
