Reporter dan, abc 7 news has learned that one of the things that complicated this case is that mcdonald called a San Jose Police officer either before or about the time the 911 call was made. And that this officer actually went to his house. Now, reliable sources within the Police Department tell us that this officer works at security at 49er games. We dont know if the officer was on duty at the time or off duty. But our Police Sources tell us that he should never have gone to mcdonalds house, and that he should have advised mcdonald instead to call 911 if he did not. San jose police did not respond to our calls and the d. A. s office refused to comment. The District Attorney will now decide what to do with defensive end ray mcdonald. While prosecutors charge him with physically abusing his fiancee. Will they decide not to prosecute him, or conduct their own investigation with the evidence the police have collected so far. It was august 31st when mcdonald was arrested at his Birthday Party at home. A 911 call said he was abusing his pregnant fiancee. Its been a lengthy police investigation. Neil parrish is an attorney who was working on the 24th floor. They didnt seem like it was unsafe. Its this large dome of High Pressure, sinking air underneath that area of High Pressure is providing us with the hot weather. The heat actually peaks friday and saturday. So if you thought it was too hot today, just wait. Numbers are going up some more. And really, heres the reason for it. The same mechanism that brought the heat today. The offshore wind pattern is going to continue tomorrow morning. That downsloping wind will bring that warm weather all the way to the coast again for your friday afternoon.
