Caltrans crews are taking advantage of the good weather to fix roads damaged by storms but one issue we wanted to sort out, whos actually responsible for the damage to your car from one of these big potholes. What should have been a sleepy, relaxing ride home in a lyft car from sfo turned into a life or death emergency. Fortunately for the lyft driver, his passenger, who you see there, was a a doctor from San Francisco general hospital. Dr. Nwando olayiwola had been sleeping but woke up when the driver opened his window and seemed in distress. This was on interstate 80. The doctor recognized the man was having a heart attack. She told the driver, pull over, she called 911 as well as the drivers wife and in minutes paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital. I thank a lot. She did best. When i told my kids the story, they said, mommy, youre a hero. I feel like i was doing what a good doctor would do. The lyft driver is back at his home in modesto recovering. This morning, dub nation still buzzing after what the warriors did, something they havent done in 18 years. Golden state scored 50 points in the Third Quarter last night, roaring back thefrom a 12point halftime deficit against the clippers. Steph curry scored 20 points in the quarter, 17 of those in the last 3 36. The warriors then cruised to a 123113 victory. Kevin, have you ever been a part of a 50point quarter like that before . Yep, sunday in allstar game. Did it feel like that . Did it feel like an allstar game . It was a little bit more defense out there. Weve had really, really crazy outbursts individually. Weve had all the sorts of fun 12minute stretches but i think tonight it was more just we were happy to be back in the game and taking a lead and getting back to who we are after halftime. It was the warriors tenth straight win over the clippers. I know a lot of you are looking forward to the weekend. Yes. Its not going to be that great, though. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Its not going to be a washout. No, no, we have a chance of scattered showers, no doubt but dont cancel your plans. Theyre going to be very light. Its not going to be an allday rain, just a signal that winter is still here and Mother Nature is going to sprinkle a few showers on us from time to time. Lets talk about that. Showers saturday, mainly dry sunday, showers again monday and then dry and warmer next week. Heres where im worried about any elevated surfaces around the airport where the fog is down to 3 4 of a mile. The temperatures are at freezing if not below so it could turn into black ice. And that will be possible through 9 00. Storm watch. Storm impact scale, just a 1, mainly light showers, less than 1 4 inch but the snow level down to 2500 feet but look how sporadic the showers are. Theyll hang around during the overnight hours, wake up at 8 00, theyre going to be mainly gone. Look, most of the day is going to be pretty quiet until the sun starts to heat us up and the showers go away for the evening and just about the entire day sunday until we get to about 10 00 and then well have another chance of showers, cold showers at that, with snow down to 2500 feet, hail, snow, graupel, all of that is possible with both of those rounds of showers. My accuweather 7 ay forecast, could be a little slick monday morning for the commute and look at the mid 60s and sunshine next week. Time for an update for alexis. After that, ad breaks would be at least 5 minutes apart. Facebook is going to also begin testing ad breaks in traditional news videos as well. I should add, because i just looked this up because it sparked my interest, this is something that you would control as a Facebook Live user, so you get to say theres going to be an ad for your viewers to see.
