A witness says three teens were sitting on this long branch when another 16yearold boy jumped up and grabbed on to the end of it. The teens fell off and the branch struck the boy in the head. The witness tells me he gave the boy cpr, but he quickly realized there was no hope because it looked like the boys neck was badly broke. The victims parents and other adults were at the park celebrating a birthday, all of them gathered away and wept. It was like, oh, wow. I feel very bad for the family and during the holidays and my prayers go out to them. Reporter Oakland Police say it appears this was all an unfortunate accident. As the boys body was taken away, his parents were are given a chance to have a moment with their son. They thanked the police and went home in tears. At lake merritt, al lap long, abc 7. Police are searching for a man who stole a package and more from a sunnyvale home. He walked up, grabbed the package and went back to his car, but he wasnt done. A huge pile of stolen mail has been recovered stolen from several homes. More than 1,000 pieces were found during a probation search at a fairfield mail, police say it was stolen from at least 24 mail boxes. Investigators are in the process of contacting the victims.
