And another closer this weekend, bart service has been suspended between the fruitvale and coliseum airport stations. A crew is working on a Rail Replacement project. A bus bridge will help riders travel between the stations. Bart says there could be 30minute delays. Service is expected to be running again tomorrow morning. The High Pressure is kind of stalled to the west of us. That allows for the foggy morning, the sunny averages, the moderate on shore push. And heres a system that will be dropping to the south. Its going to hang out around the oregoncalifornia border. That will keep us cool tomorrow and tuesday. But it will disrupt the marine layer. Then a secondary impulse will slide that to the south. A Tropical Storm headed for south and North Carolina has weakened slightly as it gets ready to make landfall later this morning. This is a look attributesville beach, North Carolina. Police urged nearby residents to stay inside their homes during an intense manhunt for the suspects. Again, three people have been captured. There are changes every day. Whatever is available in the market we put parts of it here, you know. He owns a beautiful Grocery Store called radmunds grocery market that would fit in any neighborhood. It has glass doors and allows people to see whats inside. Lots of organic fruits and vegetables and shelves stocked with healthy food and he expanded to a brand new area of fresh meat. And you wont find my alcohol sales here. That is almost unheard of in this neighborhood. This is the tenderloin. One of the most economically disadvantaged areas in San Francisco. There are more than 70 Liquor Stores in a square mile area. You go outside of the store go to the left or right, there are stores all over. And they are all Liquor Stores. Radmund is the first food storeowner to work with a coalition founded by the tenderloin neighborhood. He is from yemen, and he doesnt drink. He wants to serve his community well. So he partnered with the coalition to revamp his store inside and out had and they even helped with marketing. They offered the new shelving. They said we will put new shelving in the store so this is all new. In return we got more fruits and vegetables, dried and fresh. Most people here dont have cars. They take the puts or a cab, if they can afford it. And thats why their work is so important. It owns 30 Apartment Building in the tenderloin providing low Income Housing for people like this mother. Radmunds is a gift for her. She doesnt have a car so shopping for her family is challenging. I take the bus and with my kids, and when i come back i come with the three bags, four bags and my kids, watching my kids. And now its, wow. Much better in. Yeah. The executive director of pndc. Im thrilled with everything hes put together here not only for the great food that hes delivering, but also as a model as a pioneer and a trail blazer to show other people this is possible. Theres a powerful economic incentive to keep business in the tenderloin. If you extrapolate the money per household it comes out to a little over 900,000 a month. Over 10 million each year thats leaving the neighborhood. Ryan is a community organizer, working with local residents like these it find solutions for access to healthier food. For the past five years the sierra club have targeted high crime areas all over the city replacing concrete and asphalt with budding trees. Volunteers say it helps the environment and improves neighborhoods. Areas, clear evidence that having tree covering areas is not only good for Peoples Health it also reduces crime. It was hard getting up this morning, but being able to be out here and meeting new people and being able to do something good for your community is all worth it. That is right.
