A little breezy throughout the Morning Hours along the coast. And the higher elevations. East bay hills looking at temperatures ranging from the low 40s in santa rosa. 45 novato, 51 in concord and a cool 46 in the livermore valley. So finally a sutro tower looking clear. We will see a day, a similar to yesterday, except we are going to mix in more in the way of high clouds. Yesterday we saw a few clouds. Today a little bit more. Then we will look for a wind shift with the southerly wind keeping us on the mild side throughout the next couple of days. Tomorrow and tuesday. And our wet weather maker, the first one, looks to move in here by tuesday night into wednesday. So heres a look at our water vapor imagery. We have a lot of cold air moving into novato. Weve had a trough that has settled on in and thats increasing the surface pressure gradient. What that does is allow for more wind and mixing and some very dry air. Its 14 degrees right now in truckee. So as this low settled into the Sierra Nevada, that means an offshore flow for us. This is the first system that we are anticipating late tuesday into wednesday. But look at all the activity in the eastern pacific. So we will have a pretty fast flow with the series of travis and ridges throughout the next week ahead. That will show us that we are going to see a few opportunities for rain. 46 in reno and the Sierra Nevada with wind gusts up to 40 miles an hour. Red flag warnings in southern california. Very gusty winds here. Extremely dry conditions. 65 in monterey. So heres the way it looks tuesday night. The commute looks dry. In the north pay maybe some few light showers. But through the overnight hours looking at this, the possibility of perhaps a halfinch of rain in the north bay and then the rain will wrapup by the commute wednesday evening. We are dry behind that and then comes the next system into next weekend. 68 in los gatos today. Look for mid60s around milpitas, palo alto and redwood city. San francisco about 65 today and in the north bay we will see highs ranging from the low 60s around stinson and bodega bay to 70 santa rosa. East bay, 68 in oakland. 67 berkeley.
