One on the mind of travelers is when is the runway going to open. She said it will be days but hoping not more than a week before they get all of the wreckage cleared east runway and opened again. Today they hope to finish documenting all of the debris on runway and along the seawall and then they plan to move on to investigating the plan. They plan to interview airport personnel and the cabin crew and the pilots, all the people involved that morning. I asked her if pilot error is found to be the cause of the crash, what kind of authority does the ntsb have, what kind of action can the agency take . We are trying to figure out what happened and why it happened so we can learn less sos and apply. We make recommendations but people do not have to implement the recommendations. It is kind of helpful to get information out and 80 percent of our recommendations are adopted or accepted in a favorable way. We have her a lot about the finding so far. Including the fact they is determined the plane was coming in too low and too slow but she says it is still too early to say what caused the crash and in a Disaster Office continue it is many factors that come together and are to blame for the catastrophe she says that is why this is going to take a lot of time and why they are being so careful in handling this so slowly.
