Tonight, the nypd says theres no decision on that, so stay tuned. A heart stopping moment nay county fair in michigan, two children falling out of a ferris wheel. Plummeting to the ground as eyewitnesses watched in fear. Paula ferris with what they saw and heard. Reporter in a year where weve seen some of the most extreme rides ever, it was a simple ferris wheel that left two kids in critical, but stable, condition at this small fair in southeastern michigan. We knew it looked like it was pretty serious. Reporter an 8yearold boy and his 16yearold sister, riding in a gondola sitting across from one another. There were bars but no safety belts. And according to one eyewitness, the opening just dumped the kids out, dropping them 15 to 20 feet. Police are investigating, but say there was no mechanical problem. We have seen rides at larger amusement parks malfunction this year, including two dozen people dangling for hours at this los angeles magic mountain. But bigger, faster, steeper doesnt always mean more dangerous. In fact, the smaller rides injure more than 4,000 children every summer. Nearly 20 every day. While roller koes ecoasters acc 10 of injuries, its up to individual states to make sure rides are safe. And right now, 17 states dont have an Agency Responsible for inspecting rides. The man and woman trying to gain access to a local Maternity Ward. Heres ryan owens. Reporter a california woman is under arrest tonight, accused of trespassing at a Maternity Ward near fresno. Police say 41yearold tonya boehs and her husband dallas brought their lifelike baby dolls, not once but twice this week, to this Maternity Ward. Police say they were talking to the dolls, even cooing at them like they were real infants. The second time, she was wearing nurses scrubs. Concerned, Hospital Security called police. Its really scary. I just had my son like a year ago, and that was my main concern. Always making sure who had my baby. Reporter on boehs facebook page, she features a picture of one of the dolls and says she sells them. The idea of unauthorized people wandering through a Maternity Ward makes a lot of people nervous. And some hospitals now place a tiny bracelet on a newborns wrist or ankle. If someone tries to remove it, nurses are instantly notified and Electronic Security locks engage throughout the ward. Thats how California Police caught this woman, dressed as a nurse, trying to steal a baby in 2012. Somebody had tried to walk out with a baby in a bag. Do we know if its her baby, or no, its not her baby. Okay. Reporter police arent sure why boehs brought the dolls to the Maternity Ward, but her presence there was more than just creepy.
