Sally yates stood her ground. That statement took guts. In a dramatic letter to the department attorneys, she questioned whether the immigration ban was consistent with this institutions solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right, adding she is not convinced that the executive order is lawful. For the attorney general to turn around and say im not going to uphold this lawful executive order is clearly a dereliction of duty, and she should have been removed, and she was.
