When this crash happened, the fire was so big, witnesses raced to put it out with fire extinguishers. A crash site turned into a memorial. Overnight, it was a joyride that ended in this. L. A. 156 were on scene, we have one car fully engulfed. Two confirmed doa. Reporter when rescue crews arrived the twisted remains of the car scene, this video obtained exclusively by abc news still engulfed in flames. Two people dead. One of them is paul walker. From fast furious. We heard the crash. We heard the explosion. And we got up here as quick as we could. To find out what it was. Reporter the crash left the mangled car unrecognizable. The red porsche wrapped around a tree. According to walkers friend, jim thorpe, the passenger inside was Actor Paul Walker and the driver, walkers friend, roger rhodas. Both pronounced dead at the scene following what was supposed to be a quick spin. This was just a tragic accident that happened on a joyride. They were just taking the car for a drive. Reporter two bodies removed by the coroners. That car, placed on the back of a truck and driven away. Investigators said it appeared that the driver lost control before hitting this tree in a quiet business park. Paul wanted to go for a ride. He wanted to go for a ride in the car and they went for a ride. And that was the last we saw of them. Reporter the 40yearold actor rose to fame behind the wheel of fast cars in street races in the blockbuster fast furious movies. On sunday, he attended his charity toy drive and car show to help victims of last months victims from the typhoon in the philippines. In a videotaped message, he apologized for what he called hostile acts. On this trip, i can understand that in u. S. And western countries there is misleading information and propaganda about dprk. The United States has no official diplomatic relations with north korea, but Swedish Embassy officials visited newman on saturday, they say hes alive and receiving his medication. The women youre about to see who make history in their sport, range in age from 20 to 53. They are from 18 different countries. For these 63 women, the moment finally here. On a crisp arizona saturday, diving their way into the record books. Its vertical diving. So, were on heads while were in freefall. Reporter thats right. Theyre upside down, taking a leap of faith aimed at setting a new world record for the largest allfemale formation of its kind. We exit the airplane in a choreographed fashion. And we all start to go towards the center. Reporter the drop from 18,000 feet. The timing, crucial. So, we have about 40 seconds working time. Maybe a little less. Reporter all while hurdling towards the earth at 165 miles per hour. 95 women, trying out for just 63 spots. The rush comes from not exactly a fear of skydiving, but more of an excitement of being doing something together as a group. Rrp the average sky dive is down from 13,000 feet. These women were diving from 18,000 feet. Requiring them to take oxygen in the last 5,000 feet. They jumped out of three different planes. They described the task as difficult and stressful. An outpouring of tributes this morning for Actor Paul Walker, he was killed overnight in a fiery car crash, walker was a passenger in a friends porsche when it crashed into a tree and burst into flames. This happened outside los angeles overnight. The twisted remains of the car seen here in this video obtained exclusively by abc news, walker and the driver of the car were both killed. Investigators say the driver lost control of the car and that speed was a factor. The 40yearold actor was working on the seventh installment of the wildly Popular Series of the movie fast and furious. And breaking news this morning. A massive Train Derailment in new york city, that left at least four people dead and dozens injured. They are working to reach passengers trapped inside cars and some flipped over and leaning to the side on the commuter line. That is in the bronx. And with the passing of the november 30th deadline, selfimposed deadline to fix the embattled obama care website, healthcare. Then one of them was killed, buried alive in fact, and now two years later, police have charged his best friend with murder. Abcs gio benitez is on the story. Reporter this morning, 21yearold thomas liming, seen here in a high school photo, sits behind bars accused of murdering his own best friend, kyle underhill. Underhills death shocked a quiet Long Island Community in 2011. The 18yearold graduating senior disappeared that november. Days later, police found his beaten body in a marsh behind an elementary school. The case went cold. Many cases take a number of months or sometimes years to solve because of evidence, basically. Reporter police say that liming turned himself in just days ago when he learned he would be indicted. But a former classmate now says that liming could not have killed underhill. They were extremely close. They were inseparable. They always laughed together. I have never seen them have a fight whatsoever. Reporter investigators suspected murder from the beginning, because underhills body was found covered with a wood board, two sticks lodged in his mouth. This murder is has a lot to do with passion and rage. Two key components to this. Its highly personal. And its overkill. Reporter mysteriously, underhill left behind this yearbook message. Saying in part, to all my friends im so glad for the times we had together. To everyone else, i hate you all. While police havent released a motive or many details, but limings defense attorney said in a statement, thomas liming did not commit a crime and when the jury hears all the evidence, mr.
