The Grundy County Sheriffs Office says, at about 12 40 am, a deputy tried to pull a pickup truck over but the driver sped away going into black hawk county. The district also changed the starting time for classes at Different School levels. In anticipation of more students walking, the city and School District has changed some crosswalks. All crossing guards will have light up stop lights and whistles. If possible, the city wants kids to avoid crossing penn street.
