I think they were just joking around and took it too far. Reporter now five Boulder Preparatory High School students are expelled after a friends suicide revealed a neo nazi Facebook Group. Boulder police say 15 students from six area schools including Boulder High School openly discussed executing jews and africanamericans in what they called the forthrights official group chat. Police say the leader of boulder prep student committed suicide to show his allegiance to the nazi party. Saying shortly before his death, quote, i have crippling depression but i shall cure it by killing jews. Other comments include white power and death to all jews. And the nword. Currently winds at about three miles an hour out of the north and 45 in denver, 47 at dia. Looking at our current temperatures and almanac we actually did get a little bit warmer than earlier this afternoon. The clouds started to break a 49 is our official high at dia, 50 for the denver area. Average is 67. Yesterday we had 79. So we swung the other direction and really cooled off with the front coming through. Satellite and radar we are getting a bit better in terms of cloud cover. High country you actually had some decent sunshine today. That goes for the western slope as well. Highpressure is going to build for the western side of the country. Were going to be fairly dry. Also coming up a homeless sweep in denver is at the center of a lawsuit. The judge says there are some issues with it. Moving forward. Federal investigators saying a plane crash in denvers Homeless Holding a rally outside the federal courthouse in denver wanting to show their support for a class action lawsuit. Lawyers are suing the city over the Law Enforcement sweeps that pushed the homeless out of the ballpark neighborhood. That was the scene back in march. Now cbs4s jamie leary was at the first hearing for that lawsuit this morning. The judge spent most of the day in court advising the or get ready to face a lengthy legal process. I want to point out this is one of the areas the last homeless sweep occurred back in march. You can see some of the homeless have moved back. That sweep was one of the actions by the city that spurred this classaction lawsuit. The attorney who brought it forward says there are close to a thousand plaintiffs who say they are victims of constitutional violations with the sweeps and seizures of property. The lawsuit goes after the city of denver as well as five city officials. Michael hancock among them. The judge warned the individuals named in the case are going to claim qualified immunity. He advised williams to dismiss all the claims against those individuals and go after just the city and county of denver. Williams agreed to rework the suit but no matter who goes after, both williams and the plaintiffs say a policy change in a policy change is in order.
