Investigators were able to ditl that device but they could not say if the device was fully deactivated. The items were taken to a lab in boulder for forensic testing to determine the origin. Just about 30 minutes ago, we sought to bomb robots that appeared to be dismantling the final piece of that device. Looked like a plastic bag that was full of powder. Police say the rain has been a hindrance in their deliberately slowly so they dont destroy any evidence in this case. Police have not said if there is a suspect or if theres even video of that person dropping the bag off in front of police headquarters. The speed limit around here is just 35 miles an hour. Investigator told me last night this was a bad one. Some evidence, a headlight in the middle of the road, now on the side of the road tonight as the cars on this road started bouncing around like balls on a billiards table. I was on the interstate. A car came out in front of me. I dont really remember after that. I thought i was dead. Reporter tyler white is from tennessee but had recently come to denver to start a new life. He told cbs4s Jennifer Brice he smoked marijuana yesterday afternoon. I wasnt high at the time when i was driving. You smoke, a couple hourlater, out your system. Wasnt like i was stoned to death driving. Reporter white is believed to have been in this charger. Reaction. We do suspect that alcohol or drugs or both are involved in this particular incident. Reporter white is charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal crash. About three hours after that crash, white was found by paramedics inside a pond in city park. Naked. I really dont remember. Like something took over me. Reporter white also had a message for the family of the woman he al daughters life. And i just pray that you forgive me and asked for repentance. Im sorry. Reporter so far we dont know anything about that woman other than the fact she was 25 years old. Now these two men George Howard and Raymond Solis are charged with bias motivated crimes and assault. Developing story and ready to murder charges for the man accused of fatally shooting one teenager and critically injuring another. Investigators believe the teenagers hopped the fence trying to steal the mans illegal pot plants. Karen morfitt joins us live tonight. Reporter karen, when those teens hopped the fence onto someones property, that raised the question but under that law, homeowner can only shoot and kill an intruder if they believe the person intends to commit a crime. Investigators say two teenagers were shot after hopping a fence into the backyard of this home. 15yearold Keylin Mosley did not survive and a 14yearold he was with was critically injured. According to paperwork hammock may have the law doesnt say that you can use deadly force just to defend your property. Reporter hammock allegedly told police the teens jumped over his fence and he found them lying on the ground. Officers would later discover two rifles and spent cartridges near hammocks second floor window. Former prosecutor Karen Steinhauser says its more likely that the suspect would argue selfdefense. If you have facts where there is no warning shots, other person is shooting from an upstairs window, its going to be hard to argue that he felt physically endangered. Reporter Larimer County clerk and recorder says that was uncovered due to the cbs4 investigation. Dying to vote which found some dead coloradans bolted from the grave. Myers says after his death, someone duplicated the registered republican signature on his mailin ballot and voted. You definitely dont think this was an accident at this point . I dont think so. Reporter Officials Say with nearly 4 million votes cast in colorado elections, some fraud is expected. How many dead voters is acceptable . None.
